Success leads to Complacency, Complacency leads to Failure

People who become successful often become complacent in their success, and that leads right back to failure. You see this with rich kids. They don't value the money. They don't value the hard work that led to the wealth in the first place, so they get lazy and entitled, and then they fail to perpetuate the success. So how can you break the cycle? By making your success about others. Attaining "purpose" or self-actualization is all about sharing your expertise and your mastery with others. Find a way to benefit the greater good and you'll stay motivated, and that will allow you to maintain your success over time.

Thank you so so much! I received one of the best grades at school a few months ago but I have really struggled to find the drive I once had. Now I understand why my grades are going down. God bless you!

This is true, you must never stop achieving even when victorious. Never know who or what obstacle may come along and you gotta be ready to overcome them. Power is only held by those who can keep it.
