This man has spoken the reality. I was the spokesperson of the Obidient in Akwa Ibom State in 2023 , but I was never an LP member. Rather, I am a card-carrying member of the PDP . Obidients are in all parties. It is a party less umbrella.

Since Nigeria's political parties lack organisation, ideology and internal democracy, it is useless belonging to anyone in order to support a preferred candidate. We follow candidates we can attest to their good character, accountability, love for the country and its poor masses. Peter Obi has all the desirable character and more. There are Obidients in PDP, APGA, LP, SDP, YPP, etc.
That means that if Peter Obi goes to P.D.P the obedients will follow him? That is a disastrous move😂because Wike will come and chase out.😂 PO can't run a country. Let the Obidients back the legendary Sowore.
The problem with Nigeria is that we are willing to put up with what embarrasses us, what humiliates us, what makes us littler than we really are! If you cannot do something, why can’t you leave the stage for those who can? Why are we siding with second-best? Imposters? Why are we promoting incompetence? If Tinubu and his cronies did not tell us what they can do for us during the campaign, why would they tell us now that they are in power? Why are we joking with our future and our children’s future? Why do we like to flirt with mediocrity? Other people see Nigeria’s potential and greatness, why do we Nigerians not see it? Why do we tolerate bad leadership? Why do we condone it!? Why are we willingly bleeding ourselves to death!?

They claim to be implementing Peter Obi’s economic plans. But how can you implement an idea that was not yours to begin with? That is the problem. Peter Obi and Obidients have advanced a lot of ideas that could have transformed Nigeria by now. Instead, Tinubu and his cronies are toying with those ideas and making no progress. Why did Niger State buy 1000 tractors? Is the Government of Niger State a farming state? Peter Obi would have identified individuals who have affinity to farming and funded them. Businesses should be privately owned, not government owned. Tinubu and his cronies are taking advantage of the ignorance of Nigerians and stealing us blind! When you have a criminal as your president, this is what happens!
Nigeria must expand oil production capacity-they lament! How about expand gold, diamond and other minerals producing capacity? How about agriculture? Why is everything about oil? Here in the US, there are millions of voters that do not belong to any political party just like me.
They identify themselves as the "Independents," and most of the time, they determine who wins the majority votes casted during the presidential elections since their block votes go to any of the candidate from the 2 major parties they eventually decided to vote for.
The Obidients do not identify with any political party, rather they identify with an individual (PO) and which ever party the individual (PO) belongs to automatically gets their votes just like the Independents here in the US do.

Obidient General, perhaps you guys need to form a party and stop confusing people about which party you belong to. One headache Peter Obi has ahead of him if he considers being the presidential candidate of the mega party that Pat Utomi is seriously working on is the Obidient movement. Not all parties will agree to work under the Obidient movement. Already the Obidient General is more or less distasting himself from the party the leader ran on the platform in 2023.This is the time for the Obidient movement to decide whether they are going to form a party that can reach the north and south as the guest is claiming. It is obvious that the PDP, the oldest party in Nigeria even with the merger will never use the Obidient movement as a strategy to win the 2027 election. 90% of the youths make up the Obidient movement and at the beginning people like the Obidient General never took the movement serious and neither did the Labor party. A majority of the youth members came from the Endsar movement and some of the supporter of that movement work in the current administration, therefore considering the fact that the Obidient hated APC and PDP and hence valued an alternative such as the LP. With the contemplated mega party, the Obidient movement may be less effective in the 2027 election and besides some of them main have been benefiting from the current administration now one way or the other. There reality will start creeping in by from 2025.
