oga don't go and waste your energy. Obi is the best among all the aspirants contesting at this moment both PDP and APC. But I must tell you the truth if you like you accept if you like you don't. people like Obi cannot win president in Nigeria In this era. The youth may need him but I tell you the Elite don't want people like him of which you and I know too well that the Elite in this country control the nation.
Even the Labour Party he went to he just went there to test his popularity the party do not have solid structure enough to get him into the position. The highest he can do with his follower is third position. and if you doubt me watch & see to yourself.

What do you expect in an unjust nation without proper planning. My first time of visiting Nigeria after spending 10 years in Europe. I came to a conclusion that our leaders are still sleeping and the youth are ready to wake them up from sleeping. Nigeria should adopt the system of Belgium. Meaning 3 countries in 1 country with the Brussels. The Dutch part, French part and the German part of Belgium. Every region control their resources. Life is good and citizens are happy and enjoying life to the fullness.
In Nigeria. There should be only 3 region. The Hausa part, Yoruba part and the IBO . Every region control their resources and then take good care of the citizens. Nigeria is bless by God and I am proud to be a Nigeria but I am not proud of constitution.

When you go through comments you will know how active Ibos are on social media, one will think they have the highest population in Nigeria, but when it comes to elections you don't vote and you want to be president. This is your greatest opportunity, if you like blow it in the air. No candidate comes close to OBI.

    • @chimereh.achilefu9176
      @chimereh.achilefu9176 Před 2 lety +5

Couldn't have said it better. Been a long time admirer of Obi, but saw this exact same flaw in his fanbase long time ago. Way more igbos on social media supporting him, while being the least voting region. Additionally, the northerners were never going to vote for a SE; all put together, not a recipe for a presidential election triumph.
Even more, Labor ideology & Obi's are diametrically opposite, economic policy-wise. So that alliance makes no sense to me.
The best he could do is use his seeming popularity among igbos to really galvanize transformational change in SE leadership. Injustice at the center isn't the only problem we have, but also our own local leaders.

    • @fairytales1584
      @fairytales1584 Před 2 lety +2

SE has the least voters in Nigeria... Yes, you are right. That's the accurate and qualified people mandated to vote according to electoral laws. East doesn't involve underage, kids in elections or during voting, they don't manipulate figures like north and the rest, thereby advancing more than other regions.
Nigeria's political structure doesn't pave way for an easterner to emerge without a coalition of the north, but we must know the truth. Since the North and the rest have been in power, what is the fate of Nigeria then and now? East has been marginalized in many ways, but check the statistics of unemployed, poverty, health issues, and security problem in Nigeria.
The game is clear, the time we say enough is enough, the better we get things right, but if we keep playing politics of the North, the more Nigeria is destroyed.
Check past and present political leaders in the north, their children are contesting one post and the other, but not like that in the East, no children of any political elite from the east is contacting anything. You can see that north take politics as a career but the east doesn't see it as a career.

MY REACTION TO PDP PRIMARY ELECTION 2022.
In 2019, Wike supported Tambuwal heavily. But in 2022, Tambuwal stepped down for Atiku when he knows that Wike is contesting too. What does that tells you?
Fayose contested this PDP's primary and got ZERO (0) votes. Mind you, Ekiti had 16 delegates that voted. That means nobody voted for Fayose among Ekiti delegates.
Pius Anyim contested the primary too and got 14 votes. The delegates from SE were more than 50. How come the leading candidate from SE got 14? Who did others vote for? I thought we kind of 'agree' that SE must be given the ticket across all parties? Why are they not voting for their own aspirants from SE region?
Finally, Southern Delegates in general were there too, but voted for Atiku.
FLASH BACK .... before now ...
The South cried about marginalization ceaselessly.
The South screamed endlessly about Fulanization and Islamization.
Southerners with body language support for PDP due to their perceived APC 'misrule' and 'incompetence' of PMB called others in APC Fulani slaves.
    NOW, COME BACK ...
Do you still believe in this cry for marginalization?
Do you truly believe there is Fulanization and Islamization agenda after our Southern delegates have voted for another Fulani.
Can we now call supporters of PDP a new set of Fulani slaves?
    MY CONCLUSION ...
When next you hear the word marginalization, please note that it is due to fight over national cake and someone has been denied access to DOLLARS or NAIRA.
When next you hear FULANIZATION and ISLAMIZATION agenda, know that it is a ruse. Politicians device it to divide the people to continue to rule over them in order to coverup their sins against the nation.
Friends, the politicians just succeeded in dividing us, especially we in the South, due to dollarization of primary election. This shows that people simply cry when dollar no reach them.
Wise up and take smart decision. If you fail, be ready to cry for another version of Fulanization and Islamization. If you say it is a lie, they know how to act out drama, kill people by disguising and hanging it on their perceived target to make you believe.
It is so easy to manipulate you. They will write fearful propaganda messages and circulate it on WhatsApp and other social media platforms.
    Again, beware of politicians.

The Southern part of Nigeria just won't unite. Even the Igbo tribe shouting it's time for Igbo Presidency just can't come together and pick one candidate across party and rally round that one individual. You still want to divide your block votes, Rochas is, or was there, Anyim too, Orji Kalu too at a point, then Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, former Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, etc. In the South, it's an issue of "I must be the one".
Seriously, If any Northerner wins the Presidency then expect the insecurity issue to continue and worse. They don't have the courage to fight it for fear that they wipe out their "own people"".

Outburst of Ahmed Tinubu."Muhamnadu Buhari Would Not Have Become Nigeria's President Without Me..."
Arrogance and pride precedes destruction, Tinubu can only lay claims and boast about APC's formation and her successes at winning and dislodging PDP from office to only people who don't know and participated in the merger processes which was conceived, started by Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu using ANPP whereof he was then the Party's Chairman and some of us(myself inclusive)as National Officers and members of the party to start and actualize APC.
I can say authoritatively that Tinubu and ACN as well Buhari and CPC were invited, wooed and begged to join the merger. HE John O Oyegun, HE Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau and others were sent and led delegations to ACN & CPC (to come and join forces with ANPP)for the merger by ANPP under Dr Onu ; in the process HE Oyegun was persuaded by Tinubu (to defect and did defected to ACN) both thinking the merger will not work but Dr. Onu and all ANPP family's unity of purpose paid off other fractions of PDP and APGA joined. Immediately after the success and eventual winning the national elections HE Ahmed Tinubu started acclaiming the glory of the party's success to himself.
For those who didn't know the story of how APC won the elections and the architects of the success let me tell you briefly:
    1. Formation of APC conceived, started, pioneered, sponsored by Dr Ogbonnaya Onu. Without the merger of ANPP, CPC and ACN none of the party would have been able to defeat PDP but would have remained regional parties and PDP would have still be in power today.
    2. Credibility, integrity, wide acceptability and impeccable character of HE Muhammadu Buhari which was taken into consideration by the party at giving the ticket to Buhari cannot be overemphasized as a factor for winning the elections. Take note that then they are three aspirants jostling for the APC ticket viz: HE Mallam Shekarau of ANPP, HE Muhammadu Buhari CPC and HE Bola Ahmed Tinubu ACN. With a lot of charges against Tinubu then it was obvious giving the ticket to him would have been counter productive
3.Dr. Onu was to be VP but conceded same to Tinubu but when the Muslim Muslim ticket issue came up and it was seen impracticable Tinubu was allowed to bring his candidate and invariably settled for Osibajo out of the 3 people (Yemi Kadoso, Wale Edun & Yemi Osibajo) he nominated.
    4. Again Dr Onu magnanimously conceded the post of National Leader of the party to Tinubu when he couldn't be VP, this issue created rift between HE Alimodu Sheriff and Dr Onu which would have scuttled the success of the merger process then.
    5. The efforts of HE Mallam Shekarau should not be carpeted, he was busy all over the globe canvassing, addressing and attracting patronages from Nigerians in diaspora and international communities.
6.Again Dr Onu further sacrificed and conceded the party's Chairman to Tinubu who gave same to Baba Akande.
    7. The fact also of PDP's dismal performance, corruption, nepotism and arbitrariness culminating in the wanton destruction of the economy resulting the general rejection of PDP by Nigerians ; all these just to mention a few and many others are the factors and or reasons why APC won the elections.
You may say what about finance I can confirm to you that Tinubu contributed handsomely but others too did he was not the sole sponsor, resources were made available by the 3 major legacy parties ANPP, CPC & ACN by transfering their account's balances to APC, also huge contributions by the money bags in the names of HE Alimodu Sheriff, HE Okorocha, HE Shekarau, HE Rotimi Amaechi, HE Dr. Onu, HE Bukola Saraki etc made the elections easy for APC notwithstanding the PDP spending the resources of the nation for the elections and still failed having being in power for 16 years unbroken.
If it were to be for money alone PDP wouldn't have lost that election; so people saying it was Tinubu's money that got APC to power got it all wrong. For the 16 years of PDP's rule why did Tinubu and his regional party failed over and over to win election then?
In conclusion HE Bola Ahmed Tinubu's statement that " Muhammadu Buhari Would Not Have Become Nigeria's President Without Me..." arrogating to himself the honour of HE Muhammadu Buhari's presidency and by extension APC's winning the elections without acknowledging the collective efforts and sacrifices of others is incorrect, uncharitable and unwarranted.
