50 MINUTE WALKING WORKOUT | Endurance Walk to Burn Fat | No talking, just walking | 5744 steps!

  • Today is a 50 minute walking workout with various exercises throughout the 50 minutes. We'll start slower with a 5 minute warm-up then pick up the pace for the next 40 minutes. We'll slow down for the last 5 minutes for a proper cool-down. Today is Day 5 of the 7 day program which is an interval training program designed for weight loss. Ideally, workout each day in order of the 7 day schedule and continue for 4 weeks. This is SERIES 2 (hopefully you completed the first program for 4 weeks!). Two viewers have been kind enough to tell me the steps since I forgot to wear my Fitbit during this workout. One counted 5737, another 5750 so I averaged it to 5744 steps:) Thank you Carrie and Marie-Therese!!!
    This interval training program is suitable for anyone who can currently walk for 30 minutes 4-6 times a week. If you are at that fitness level then you can start this program (suitable exercise for seniors, beginners, and people of all ages). Interval training is geared for burning calories and fat, building muscle, and getting past that plateau effect that so many people hit. Interval training uses brief bursts of high-intensity activity which provides the effects people are looking for...more results!
    The breakdown of each day:
    Day 1: Interval training: 1 minute fast intervals and 1 minute slow intervals x 6 • LOSE WEIGHT and SEE RE...

    Day 3: Interval training: 2.5 fast and 2.5 slow minute intervals x 4 • FAT LOSS WORKOUT | Low...
    Day 4: Stretching
    Day 5: 50 minute workout • 50 MINUTE WALKING WORK...
    Day 6: 25 minute workout with focus on arms • 25 Min Walk at Home Wo...
    Day 7: 20 minute workout • 20 MIN WALK & DANCE WO...
    When I did this workout 20 some odd years ago, I shed weight really quickly. I had about 20 pounds to lose and I lost it. Interval training is super effective if done properly. As with anything, your body will start to get used to the workout so I'll create another program in the future. It'll just be a bit more challenging which is what your body will need at that point. Please email me if you have any questions about the workouts. Always listen to your body and take an extra day off at any point if you really feel you need it. The last thing you want is injuries so definitely listen to your body and go at the pace that suits your body and your fitness level.
    After week 8, you will have a week off. Yes, an actual week off the intervals. Ideally, you should still work out but do other workouts you enjoy. 20, 30, 40 minute workouts are fine.

    I got your back Jule. My fitbit registered 5737 steps but mine is usually a couple hundred steps behind yours. I think it's because I get all out of whack with my arm motions and my leg motions, but I'm still moving. LOL Love how you incorporate the arms in your exercises because I know I neglect mine. I'm loving how I feel after getting through the video. ACCOMPLISHED! Thanks so much for doing this videos because I really needed them.

      Carrie..I noticed your really committed as I see your comments all the time. I'm with you..I think these workouts were a gift! I had been working out but I really see the difference after starting Series 1. Two more days on series 2 and then excited for series 3!

    I did this workout with 2 pound hand gloves. Love that you put a lot of ab moves in the workout. I’m 65 and found that this workout works the whole body, love it❤

    I did the whole video!! Phew!! What a great workout. I am a stroke survivor (4 years post stroke). I vowed to get healthy. I lost 70 pounds and hit the gym and local walking trails. But since I discovered your videos you are my workout of choice. I am actually excited to workout. Thank you for being such an integral part of my journey to health.

      Thank you. I had been very ill for several years with a rare anemia and breast cancer. I was in and out of hospital and thought I would die . Due to medications I out on a lot of weight and never exercised. Now that I'm better I decided this was my best chance to try to feel better in this decade of my life.     Jules, I did it! This is the first time EVER to do a 50 minute aerobic workout! I may not be losing weight, but I’m sure getting more aerobically fit! 🎉

      Amazing!!! I'm so glad you're not focusing on the weight. But, my guess is, if you keep up with being consistent with exercise, the weight will start to shift and you'll start losing it (on top of feeling better and being more fit).

    Just finished this one (2-15-2022). I am excited to say I found
    your work-outs a month ago & love them and proud that I have lost 10 pounds. To some people that is nothing, but to me that is a lot of weight considering that I have diseases that cause weight gain, 2 herniated discs in my back, other health issues & brittle bones that I have to go to the hospital for treatments for. Thanks Jules for helping me. I even do your videos twice a day & that's definitely a miracle for somebody that wasn't doing any work outs :)

    Today was a crummy day with work and family issues. I just wanted to skip today and nap, but I pulled up today's workout and read the comments for inspiration. Thought I'd do at v least half, but once I got going, I finished the whole 50 minutes. So glad I pushed myself to do it. Thank you for a fun workout. And thank you and your followers for inspiration.     I am doing this program in addition to intermittent fasting. I've lost about 6 pounds so far. This is the first exercise routine of yours that I've done and actually been sweating. Feel so good! I haven't exercised like this in a very long time.

    Yesterday was my day break . today I was ready to try this on. Sunday morming, Sunny day, wish it rare this winter. 7:30 I start and I had fun, I feel so happy all time. thank you! have un nice week xx I will continue my 3 times a day. 20 min, 15 min and every night I do the 10 min.     Wwwhat omg tremendous. That was a sweaty, but incredible workout. I really felt my arms work as well. You are so kind and thoughtful in getting every body part working. I'm going be doing this one a lot. It's longer obviously but gets steps up, heart pumping and burns a lot. This is ideal then a bit if arm or leg strength and job done. I tried not to laugh when u realized u forgot ur fitbit😂.... Then one of the songs u were just loving it. This music was fab. I'm so into these kinda workouts..... Have a fab weekend....     Phew! That was tough! (In a good way!) I modified a little bit, but much less than I anticipated that I'd have to. And I never stopped moving, so yay! Thank you so much for these videos. They are so contagiously energetic, although I'm not quite as joy-filled as you are. :) At the same time, I can't seem to give up, either, which is awesome. And I so love the variety of moves!     The idea of 51 minutes seemed daunting before starting. So I turned the clock face away from me and time took a back seat. It was a great workout. Much appreciated the water break. I also work out in my sewing room, so while exercising, I think about the next project I'll pursue. 51 minutes? Piece of cake..a low fat no oil slice. LOL

    Yeah around 6000 steps I had but I did go down to switch the laundry out. I hate when you forget your step counter. It's a good motivator to get that extra step. Great steady state workout.

      Yes, it's very frustrating for me when I get into my workouts and realize I forgot to put on my watch to count my steps. Always so many things to remember when I create the videos! Glad to see you are still continuing with the workouts, Taylor!

    Darn, I started this too late tonight (@ 9:40pm). Got to my under 40 minutes but had to stop to wind down so I can get to sleep for my office day tomorrow. Almost didn't do it because it was so late, but glad I did most it

    Wow! Got through 30 minutes…at my pace. Gotta keep trying. You had me laughing at the Fitbit snafu! I hate when that happens. Makes me wanna quit because….well, you know, the steps don’t count. Lol!

      Lol, I couldn’t believe I forgot it…I always put it on last before having everything else organized but then forgot. So much to remember between lighting, music, camera, timer and the Fitbit! I’m sure someone will be kind enough to tell me the steps.

    My tracker watch always says less than every video step count. It says this one is 5270. But I love this video!

      I think some of the watches we wear will be different depending on how we set them up, or maybe just the difference in the brands, too.

      Hi Jill! I try to get to my comments within a day or two but I'm a bit behind. With these interval series, I put links in the description (under the video) to make it easier to find the videos that go together. I also have playlists where the videos are put together (you can find the playlists on the main page of the channel). As for the rest day, you can still do a workout if you wish and feel able (just do an easier 20-30 min workout).     I’ve got lost in where I am because I’ve been looking after my adult son.
    What do you think is best to do- start from week 1 again, just repeat the week 2 or start at the beginning of the first one? Not sure if I’ve put the question properly but hopefully you’ll understand what I mean 😅
    Haven’t done any exercise since whenever my last one was (think it was this one) and my steps have gone right down. I had been aiming for 10,000 steps.

    I went to your CZcams page to get the rest of this weeks exercises as well as the final week, but I can't find them in your playlists. I've been following the series and am just finishing up the Series 2 exercises for the first time. Did you move the playlist to another place??? I really wanted to finish the whole series, but I can't find the remaining exercises.
