One show I've been giving a lot of attention to was cancelled back in 2006/2009 that ended on a cliffhanger: *_My Life as a Teenage Robot_* from Nickelodeon. I still hate them for doing that. 😡

Once it was clear I couldn't recuperate at least part of it, I decided to just call it quits and published one last "chapter" explaining to my readers what had happened and why I wasn't returning to the story and then followed up with sharing what I had planned for the rest of the story.
I dont remember ever seeing this scene but I was pissed when i learnt they cancelled it. The best shows always get cancelled before their time and the shit ones live on.

I don't think Mitchell was anything like RDA. He was exuberant and a bit annoying at times. But they did two things wrong. 1) They didn't allow the natural dynamic between Shanks and Bowder come through, they had perfect comedic timing which wasn't used enough, and 2) they messed up the Merlin storyline. Like many scifi plots, there was a lot of potential that they chickened out on. The Ori had huge potential but by that point no one cared.
Let's be real here the Syfy network is in decline because of the derivative monster/weird utterly implausible disaster movies it keeps showing in addition to wrestling and crime procedural dramas. I like CSI as much as the next fella and people are fans of wrestling but they don't belong on a network which is supposed to be about science fiction. Plus Syfy is way to to close to an STD name. These are the same folks that killed the Tremors series so is it any wonder why they're incompetent.
I think SG1 in earlier seasons was a different show than later seasons. ;) It didn't get really good and deep until Daniel's return, IMO. Never had an interest in Alphas. As for looking for a scifi show to sub SG1, hang it up. I've been renting BSG. Haven't seen a good scifi series since that was on the air, and at that point SG1 was going downhill. Did like SGA a whole lot. SGU, not so much. Man, remember Scifi Friday? That was a GEM.
