My favorite part. Bane just casually walks torwards them with his hands on his lapels as if their skills were beneath him.
I always found it clever how when Selena retracts her tech goggles, they create the shape of little ears.
I really like how the characters never explicitly call her Catwoman, but instead, the papers refer to her as " 'cat' burglar strikes again," she wears the catsuit, has a seductive attitude. She doesn't have to call herself Catwoman, because we all understand Catwoman. it goes to show how iconic a villain is when all you need to do is show them.
Is she a "villain" in this one tho? Yeah she's a criminal but she's clearly against the antagonist of the film

Christopher Nolan is a genius when it comes to telling a Batman story but can't direct a fight scene to save his life. He constantly chooses camera angles that shows how fake the hits are or his stunt men are not in sync with what is going on in the fight.

Undisputed 2, 3 and 4 have the best fight scenes I have ever seen. Watchmen also has a few good ones but they are too few.

+JoeNumberwang Yeah, it's difficult to see since it's a background scene, not the foreground. We're not really meant to see exactly what happens, because they haven't yet brought Batman into focus at that point. There's a rifle that drops right beside him, and then interestingly there's a sidearm that just lands right in front of him. Are you saying he got hit by the rifle or that Batman threw that sidearm at his head?

This entire sequence is perfect, bat & cat fighting together, the background score when bane approaches, and then the bat leaves with the "im not a hero song" with nocturnal takes of the city buildings" I'ts like being watching comic squares in the cinema.

Why do you think people are so excited that he is directing and writing the Batman movie that comes out 2018? Why do you think people are so excited that he is the executive producer on Justice League?
Also, do you really just let critic reviews make opinions for you? I personally enjoyed the movie although it had some flaws, and thought the critics were being to hard on it. Critics either hate films completely nowadays or love it completely. There does not seem to be any middle ground. For example, as much as I enjoyed Captain America: Civil War I think it is overrated.

When Bataffleck foughts aginst mercenaries he was punched, stabbed and shooted in the head. If he had not the armor he would die. Baleman in this scene was not touched even once.

Lost his balance? LOL. My biggest problem with Nolan's trilogy was the choreography of batman. He's much faster in the comics but then again Nolan set out to make a realistic tale of the dark knight but the choreography is not anything special.

The fight choreography is still a whole lot better than any official Batman done live action. Better than the 66 Dozierman and Napier show and way better than the Burton and Schumacher where he couldn't turn his neck or waist, and goons had to wait for him to shuffle around and awkwardly kick and jab them.
Now if they can get the fighting to look like the Arkham games' freeflow and Invisible Predator combat that would be something special. There have been a few good fan films that managed to replicate that style and make it look good.

Very good observation and points on how he left clues that he is alive to the people he trust like gordan, robin,lucius, and of course fufilling alfred hope for him in person just like he wanted. To see him happy again. They would'nt speqk just nod to each other saying i love you and im ok.

I'm sorry but this fight scene is just poorly executed. The cinematography in this film took a huge step down from the first two in the franchise, which is strange considering it's the same cinematographer. The whole sequence is done in mostly wide shots so you can see all the staging and choreography and it just looks fake. This is a problem with a lot of the fight scenes in the film and I think it was done to try and make the film look visually larger in scale but in my opinion it doesn't work to the film's advantage.
You know nothing if you think the first have better cinematography. The first Batman fight scene in BB is so extreme on shaky cam that can't tell what the fuck is going on, the editing in TDK chase scene is horrible. This film had by far the best action scenes of the trilogy even if they were still not good enough.

I love the sense of Anonymity for those mercenary's, notice how we never see their faces, their faces are always in the dark and they don't run to Batman/Catwoman, they walk with no hurry.

I wish there were more scenes between them. The dialogue between the two is playful which is often how it is in the comics and some of the animated shows. They got the dynamic between the two right for this movie.
