I no longer have kids at home but I love the wipes for that extra cleanness after each trip to the bathroom. Thanks, you did it again!!
I did something similar when my kids were young. As they grew older, I found I still needed hand wipes. I use thick paper towels and Witch Hazel (my son has eczema) in a zip lock bag. It works great and soooo much less expensive than buying them.
Do you do witch hazel as the only ingrrdient? I'm wanting to make some for my little one.
Scalvert925 Yes, I use Viva brand paper towels and TN Dickinson's Witch Hazel. It contains a small amount of alcohol, but I only use it for hand wipes. My son would break out if I used anything too strong.
+Rainbow Gardens ok thanks so much :)
+Rainbow Gardens Thank you for sharing this! I hope it helps someone!!
Paper products, such as paper towels can contain dyes, inks, fragrances, chlorine bleach, formaldehyde, adhesives, and other chemicals.
You're not considering ALL of the ingredients that are in them. The paper towel itself has bleach and who knows what else. Just keep that in mind when you say you know "all" the ingredients that go into your child because you don't. That's why I opt for cloth.
Who's watching this after accepting it is impossible to get wipes due to Coronavirus Madness 🙋
Me!! I actually have wipes, but can't use them :(.
we can't get paper towels either.
Me jajajaja... I can only find paper towels...
Lol just came off of target website and I cannot get a box of cucumber wipes. Freakin hoarders😤
@@26alexther I couldn't find Toliet paper or paper towels. I saw people on mercari website selling a $1 scott Toliet paper from dollar tree for $12. Same goes for wipes, hand sanitizer and antibacterial items. Those people buy every thing and sell them for outrage price.
Thick 100% cotton paper towels..the organic ones...which hazel, aloe Vera, distilled water and if u need a lil suds...a teaspoon of Dr bronners and ur good to go...this is the best/ safest/ gentlest option...if you want some germ protection ...get the tea tree option..or just a few drop of the essential one n ur good..or like she's using coconut oil with the mixture
just a little tip I got from I think, America'sTest Kitchen:
when you sharpen your knives, especially with that type of sharpener, always keep it *away* from your food. or in this case, I'd think wet whipes.
supposedly, little tiny pieces of the metal that we can't even see can get onto whatever is below the knife sharpening action.
I'm certainly no expert so I have no idea how absolutely true that knife sharpening advice is, but I just wanted to pass it on!
I love your videos and you have so many fabulous DIY tips and recipes!
♡-Sandi
+c. k. sandi I was taught in a culinary class that simply rinsing the knife off with water will prevent the spread of small pieces of metal :)
Yes I think that's great advice - for sure want to rinse it when you're done.
I meant the little bitty particles they say can fall onto your food, cutting board, etc. So the advice was like "sharpen it away from the food instead of right over the food so no particles fall onto it"
+c. k. sandi Thanks for sharing this! Good to know! I wouldn't have thought that was the case, but it makes sense. TY!!
cammie k. sandi I was talking to my self as I watch her file the knife o. top of those wipes lol like what is she doing!!!! hehehe
Knife sharpener, here: I always wash blades after sharpening them. The lubricants or oils used aren't food-safe, and it's best for ensuring that any microparticles do get removed (how many of us rinse our toast plate and get all the crumbs removed?)
This video saved me! Thank you! I thought I had another package of wipes, and realized this morning I’m out. Of course my son decides this is the perfect time to go poo. These diy wipes took me less than 5 minutes to make, and they worked great!
When I make my wipes I usually remove the paper towel innard the brown harder paper in the beginning verses the end, which is super easy to do and on quality PT it is not over-glued and so this way I save a lot of good liquid, which would have been otherwise waisted if I had removed the inner roll at the end. I hope this helps everyone, including our good earth. And thank you for posting this awesome DIY video.
Thank you for helping me save $0.000002
I was thinking same, easy to get it out sooner. 😊
I watched this, got inspired and rushed to the supermarket and bought what was needed. They kept tearing but I wiped my face to remove my BB cream and they didn't sting my eyes nor were they harsh. Thank you!
Yay!! This makes me so excited since I dread buying diapers and wipes!!
I used your formula and put baby washcloths, you know, the smaller thinner ones into the container by folding them into halves and poured the solution over it and used it as a makeup remover. WOW it works better then my high end makeup removers, even eye makeup !! thank you so much for this video and the formula !! I love your channel so much.
why am i watching this??i dont even have a kid..
missael lombera thats ok you can use it for yourself
Me either but good for wiping hands after doing pumping gas, wipe hands after doing anything. I keep them in the car
Because they’re useful with or without a baby. They’re inexpensive to make and convenient to travel with. What could be better?!
In my first trimester! I’m so glad to stumble upon this video. I’m definitely looking for the best, cheap, convenient, and natural home hacks. Great video!
Bahahahaha You had me rolling !
Thanks so much! I have two babies in diapers and go through so many wipes. I can't wait to make these!! I am now subscribing!!
This is so wonderful . Thank you for posting this . With the coronavirus I haven't been taking my baby anywhere .
I've been making my own for a while, now that my kids are grown I still make them for myself. It's great for a quick clean up when I feel a bit grungy.
Love that you used natural ingredients for these baby wipes!
You can also use the plastic large coffee containers and it fits perfectly. :)
+Violet Baker Love this!!
great Idea, I have plenty of them around, thanks for saving me some money, I was going to buy a container.oh, I love these hacks
Plastic coffee containers? Where do i find those?
And my butt is gonna be smelling like coffee!!! Nice
Yeah!--- Perfect for a Folgers coffee commercial remix:
🎶Cauz the best part of waking up, is the coffee scent from your butt!🎶
great idea! These would be handy in my art room!

thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich Totally!
Love these! TFS
+thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich YES! Definitely :) Just subbed to your channel!
+DoItOnaDime hey, thanks!
that's such a great idea! not sure why I never thought about it before!
love that idea . just wonder if i can use that to new born baby with sensitive skin...
I have made them before. They're great. I use just a little water, a squirt of body wash or shower gel, a squirt of baby oil, and have also added a squirt of witch hazel for it's healing properties for skin. I have even made anti-bacterial wipes for the hands and arms. I've put just a small dab of water, a couple splashes of rubbing alcohol, and couple splashes of witch hazel. It's great because it cleanses with just enough water & all liquids combined, kills germs with the rubbing alcohol, and conditions n treats skin w/ witch hazel.
That is fantastic! Thank you so much for always bringing us quality videos.
Love the wipes and really great for personal use or cleaning around house very gentle to use.
I love your energy! It makes me happy too!!
Love these my son 7 months I should of been done this since he was born . I was buying pamper wipes I jus made my own baby wipes yesterday thanks to u I save some money for pampers wipes in my pocket

Lindsay already said what I was about to say. I use baby wipes to clean off my art table, inky hands and sometimes on the actual artwork. Great share!
Thank you soooo much for this video! I was just about out of wipes and instead of having to buy more I just did this to hold us over until payday!
I'm definitely going to try this! Thanks for sharing!!! 😊
My favorite paper/kitchen towel for baby wipes is Viva. They are super soft lol I've also kept them in a gallon ziplock baggie. :) For the most part we use a similar solution in a squeeze bottle and squirt on a washcloth in the house if I choose or do not have any disposable wipes.
+kirasgirly Viva are THE best! I used these all the way back in the 80's when I first discovered them. They were so much nicer for the babies than the pop up wipes at the time.
+kirasgirly I love Viva, too.
This was the best video I found on the topic! I have been searching for something like this for a while now!
I'm so trying this!!! Thanks for sharing this!!!
I love this recipe! Thanks!
Thank you! I'm shelling out so much money per month for wipes to clean my ostomy bags. Fantastic!
I use wipes myself..thank you so much for this!! And yes.. not knowing how long this virus will linger..this will help so many people!!
Great stuff! I don't have any kids, but I go antiquing and we go to the fair and other dusty mucky places. Having wipes to tidy up afterwards as well as cool down is really nice!
thank you for this vid...how very useful and helpful. Don`t have a baby but have had bowel surgery which has left me with a `clean -up` problem..not nice , but better than bowel cancer. Thank you soooo much. I`m off to get some distilled water and going to give it a whirl...once again , thank youxxx
Oh thank you so much!! Definitely going to try have been looking for a easy alternative and this is def it! 😁😁😁
viva's would we great for this since they are like cloths
I did this for my baby who is 15 yrs now. I used a cylinder container for the house and a small portable container for on the go. Back then we used baby magic products. It saves me lots of money along with cloth diapering and breastfeeding. TFS
can you like make a better picture because you look horrible in that pictures seriously
Love these, gonna try! Thx
Love this easy diy vid. Thank you!
Informative and to the point! Thanks!

These are awesome. Thank you!
Awsome!!!!! So doing this! Much blessings!
What an awesome idea! I plan to make these wipes to wipe my dog's paws after a long walk outside! Thanks oodles!
Question, you mentioned getting the Bee's products real cheap with coupons, where do you find the coupons? I have yet to find any. Thanks for a reply.
We've make wipes off and on :) The recipe is almost the same but I add a few drops of tea tree oil. Thanks for the reminder that I need to make more! Also, love the chalk label idea.
Wow this is amazing. I’ve been using pampers sensitive wipes and just became aware of the sodium benzoate in them and when mixed w citric acid, which they also contain, it becomes a carcinogen. I feel terrible that I’ve been wiping my suns genitals w literal poison. Thank you sm for this DIY vid! Definitely going to look into some unbleached cotton wool spun lace or some kind of natural ish towel. This is amazing. Thanks again 🙏
This is so helpful! This is way better than buying wipes with possible harmful ingredients in them.
super great love this video thank-you and God bless
I make alot of my own stuff and its good to know that I can make my own baby wipes to, thanks for the good video!

I’ll be making these baby wipes to use on my granddaughter 👍🏻👍🏻 this will save me a lot of money, thank you so much for sharing this video.
Yes! It's so important to know what you're using on your baby's skin!
Awesome video! Thanks a Million for sharing 😊
Great idea I will be giving this a try Thanks
What a great idea. I love your videos 💜💜👍🏼
Love it! I use baby wipes all the time! tfs
I did this thank you, I substituted shampoo with Castile soap and the baby oil with mineral oil I had these already.
After having a fail with the roll of paper towels, I just bought a marked down 8 pack of Gerber baby wash cloths and use those with the solution. Rinse and dry on a rack then wash in hot water (just treat like cloth diapers) and they work fine.
Fantastic! Will defo give this a try!! Hope it works!
your ideas are so awesome
Omg I love this I cloth diaper and this solution is so easy for wipes. Weather I do cloth or disposable
Awesome idea! We go through so many wipes in our house. Thanks! :-)

Nope. I've never made my own baby wipes. But! I will now. :) Thanks! Can't wait to share with my niece who has just had a baby. Or better yet...I'll make her a batch when I make mine.
Great idea!!
Looks fabulous! My lads are in their 20s now so I didn't know I could make my own wipes that long ago! If I did - I probably would have! :)
I’m a much older lady … I find baby wipes kept in my bathroom helps me to feel fresh 😅
I’m making these for myself 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
♥︎ i loved the recipe, my baby is a premie so i do care what goes on her skin❤︎
great, I have all the ingredients.I will be making this for my grandson. thanks so much.
would this be suitable for newborns..atleast for the first month or two ? the doctors mentioned using cotton balls and water initially ...
would love to get some feedback! thanks!
What type of glad container are you using? Does it have a hole in the lid to take wipes out with one hand? I don’t want to spend $20ish to get a dispenser - my baby wipes have been drying out
New subscriber here...I love this! Thank you for making this 💕 I have a puppy, so constant cleanup lol and I also use baby wipes to remove my makeup so this is great!
The best tip you gave me was to SHARPEN THE KNIFE. So basic but easy to forget. THANK YOU

I liked it very much and what do you think about to make it commercially
I make your wipes to clean around my kitchen and never looked back. Have to try these too!
