I just had to tell you I made this on the stove this evening and my 4 year old daughter (who is my tough critic with no filter) came in and asked "mom! What is that amazing smell"? When I mentioned what it was she said " yeah, and it doesn't even smell disgusting"! I guess I have to give it two thumbs up because it really does smell amazing!!! Thanks for your videos!!!
I love to simmer cinnamon sticks and apples in the fall. Its definitely fills your home with a happy scent. I bet the lemon and rosemary smells very clean. Thanks for sharing!
+Marriage & Motherhood I do that too and omg so good!! I'll also add Orange peels to it =)
+Marriage & Motherhood Love it! Sounds amazing! Yes, it really is a fresh scent!

This is a cheaper hack for those like me who cannot afford essential oil: just go to the dollar store and pick a plug-in warmer refill that you like and then pop the top off so it is opened up, and use that as your essential oil.
Be careful though because it might stains surfaces or cloth. Test first.
I just did that with lemons and vanilla extract baby
I have often saved perfume ads to put in drawers, but never thought of just spritzing my favorite scents onto popsicle sticks! Genius, and so simple! We leave an open box of baking soda in the fridge, but the mason jar idea is much prettier. Thanks for sharing!
I love to the stove simmer idea. I use to save orange and lemon peels and if I had any fresh herbs or dried cinnamon I'd simmer it on the stove The whole house smelled amazing!! Thanks for the reminder 🧡
Great tips! I love your enthusiasm, how fast you talk - getting good information out quickly, and the short length of you vids. You are an expert editor. I get happy when I see you've posted a new video and I'm still marathoning your old ones. -And going back to the Dollar Tree (where I never shopped) on a regular basis. I'm organizing my house a bit each day. -Admiring some of my own cabinets now! Thanks again, Girl! Keep up the good work!
+Rochelle Alves That's awesome! You keep it up, too Rochelle! Haha, I'm all about the Dollar Tree run.
I agree with this comment above. I really like how bubbly, happy, and "awake" you sound - some people who post videos have no energy, and are in dire need of a nap, it seems. I recently watched one on organization that made me feel worse after I had watched it. lol
Where did you get that honeycomb sock organizer thing?
+Hollins23 dire need of a nap!!!ur hysterical !!!

I recently purchased a tripple milled soap bar from TJMaxx made in England (they have beautiful luxurious soap bars, so many different kinds) it is wrapped in a beautiful covering.. i just put it in our bedroom (my husband and i) and the whole room smells incredible!! like wow.. i wasn't expecting that at all!! I placed it there because its beautifully wrapped plus it is for my mother when she visits from out of state.. So this random situation turned into a great idea... i told my husband i want to buy different soaps and place them in different areas of our home! And you cannot beat the beauty of these soaps.. so many to choose from.. ❤👍
Brilliant ideas and all with no chemicals!! Thank you , it's amazing how many people are happy to fill their home with artificial aromas just because they think it's easy. I hadn't thought of the drops of oil inside the loo roll , I put drops of essential oil on a bowl of pine cones I have in the bathroom.

I love all of your tips and try to use your tips around my house all the time.. Thanks for helping us stay organized!!!
I am going to try this lemon simmer right now! I have done bars of lavender soap in my linen closet before. Great ideas!
we had something similar to the first one, but we used an old tin coffee can! we'd put orange peels and cinnamon in it, and kept it lower than simmer point, but it still worked really well! i definitely recommend it, especially in the winter, because it keeps moisture in the air (meaning less dry sinuses and cracked lips!)
and for some medicinal benefits, you can try a four thieves blend; clove, cinnamon leaf, rosemary, lemon, and eucalyptus. this mix was used in the middle ages to stave off illnesses and plagues and it can keep you from getting sick. i used to always get the flu and colds every winter until i started using a four thieves essential oil, and now i get by with the sniffles at most.
Hello! I just finished binge watching all the previous seasons of The Good Wife and thought I would be catching up on my sleep...that is until I just found your channel! I am going to do every one of the suggestions you have walked us through above and I will be binge watching your channel and will have my notebook at the ready. I can't wait ♥
Namaste
Love the simmer with the lemon and rosemary. I use fabric softener sheets and put them in my draws and pillows cases filled with the sheet set when I put them away. Alway use coupons and get the fabric sheets really cheap
If you like the scent of a perfume sample in a fashion magazine, tear it out. Put it w/ the scented flap open in your clothing drawer...works as well as the bar of soap trick.
+Cherry Vintage Love this, Cherry!
+DoItOnaDime Thank you!
Awww my grandma told me this trick before lol
Popsicle sticks...I now have an alternative :) I spray card stock or business cards and stick them in the drawer. I also use dryer sheets from time to time. Thanks for sharing.
+Veri Keri Great tips, Keri!!
This woman is my hero!!! Just thinking of a way to freshen up my home and she has a video for it.
you are so awesome! i have rosemary too. i bring mine in in the winter because i have it in a pot. i guess i should plant it in the ground this spring. i ADORE! rosemary and i love to mix a batch of rosemary with lavender! they smell wonderful together. they almost look like each other too, maybe they are meant to be together. i will definitely be trying the lemon and rosemary simmer. i do lots of simmering with oranges and cinnamon. it does make the house smell wonderful and rosemary is very good for you and your memory. and lord knows i need that. the soap in the drawers!!! genius! i am a soap freak and i have sooooo many bars of soap.. a lot of them i buy just for the scent and what a great way to get to smell them! i love that. i love watching you and your videos. your energy and all that you come up with just always makes my day.
Amazing tips. Soap one reminded me of my mom's hack. she used to place empty soap packet/cover in the closets for a fresh fragrance.. she never used to throw them in the bin right away. :)
I know it takes dedication to upload videos and I am so grateful that you do! Great tips!
In love with these ideas, Can't wait to try them!

Thank you Katherine my friend hope your having a very blessed Day!
Very helpful and neat ideas, thanks.
Do the kitchen aroma in your crockpot so you don't have to worry about the stove on all the time, or the water evaporating. I love the popsicle stick idea ... i need to do that !!! I also have some body sprays that I"m not to great about wearing on my body, but they'd be great for my drawers.
Vet Tech Mom love the idea of using the crockpot Thank you
Vet Tech Mom j
Thx!!!!
Just get an essential oil diffuser. They are wonderful
If I do use the stop top method, I set my stove timer so I don’t forget it’s there! Tho I’m with you and I prefer to use my small slow cooker.
The cooking lemons.....I will absolutely try it! Thanks.

Thanks! I want to try all of these
These are all great ideas!! And when you change out your baking soda, pour it in your drain, pour in some vinegar, and it will bubble up and clean your drain. I am going to try all these ideas because they are natural. I also read that you can put some vodka in a small spray bottle, add a little essential oil, and shake. This makes a natural air freshener, and the vodka is the preservative so it will last for years.
Too expensive.
Alcohol isopropyl does the trick well and cheaper.
Yes, I make vodka and eso sprays. With the vodka you don't get the smell like you would with rubbing alcohol. Just a really nice eso scent. I also use baking soda and vinegar to clean my drains. Works great!
Mixing with witch hazel is much more cost effective, in my opinion, and then you're left with only the scent of the oil
Thanks for the tips, I'm gonna try them
Lovely simple ideas but really effective! Hugs
Please do more videos like this! These tips were amazing
