    My wife bought me a mirror cube about 15 years ago. She thought it was going to be a harder challenge than the traditional cube. She was surprised and disappointed when within 10 minutes I was solving it with my eyes closed. But, as I insisted, I actually really like that. It was a different experience and fun.

  • @xuananator
    @xuananator Před rokem +49

    We did “mirror full blind” as an unofficial event at a cubing comp prior to lockdown and it was mad fun. Over the time we spent at home there was a big discussion about adding mirror blind as an event and while everyone agreed that it would be very good idea (it adds a new style of solving that is currently not offered with the current events yet is accessible to anyone that can solve a 3x3) BUT the problem came in when it came to defining the regs on what a mirror cube is. The concern being that manufacturers might try to push the hardware to make the event too easy one way or the other. Not to mention that there were mirror cubes that had rotationally symmetrical pieces which would need to be negated in some way.
    I still think it’s worth brainstorming a way to find a solution cause it’s a lot of fun

      It's not made by moyu a separate company called cubers home modded the rs3 m and sold it on the cubicle and scs. They made the same mod for the wrm 2021, the tornado v2 and the tengyun.

    Could you send/release the words that you use for blindfolded letter pairs because I struggle thinking of different words, especially for some of the harder letters.
    Also loved the video and are looking forward to the comp video! :)

    First found this concept from a Streamer named Smallant! Apparently he used to do this under his desk at school to avoid getting caught cubing so eventually he got good at solving it without looking ^^
