I think you missed the main difference between the 2 robot: the Gan one isnt really a robot but just a machine who execute the order from the smartcube app

I'd say the scanning time shouldn't be added for the cubes. Because the one is not a digital cube, so the software needs to know where all the squares are. The digital one just tells the software the shuffled arrangement. so 10 seconds is still a good solve time.

That was like what a battle between Pablo (MoYu) and CubeHead (GAN) would end up. Robots won't take over the (cubing) world anytime soon and the only thing Carl will take over is the trash can.
