Fantastic Four are a great team, hope the MCU will bring them back under the spotlight and most importantly, do Dr Doom justice.
I think in a few of the previous FF4 movies Dr. Doom was depicted fairly well. Hope they enter the MCU soon.

What about ”Malice”? This dark entity possessed Sue, Richards. Malice was in a few issues back in the nineties.
I always presumed House of M's Thing/IT was actually a mutated Reed as opposed to Ben...just because of the way Doom treated him and spoke to him...

The fantastic 4 have been around for a long time now
Since the early 60's. And the idea was originally came about thanks to a conversation on a golf course. The head of Marvel at the time was talking to none other than the legendary Stan Lee and he was raving about the Justice League and how popular they were. The head of Marvel wanted Lee to come up with a Superhero team for Marvel. And hence he thought up the Fantastic 4.

Still think my favorite dark FF is from planetary THE FOUR. Each with darker versions of their powers and personality. DC I know but very dark
They do sound pretty dark.
while it isn't exactly Marvel cannon, there was a MSH gamebook published by TSR called "One Thing After Another" which had an alternative Ben Grimm who, after becoming changed into the Thing, returned to Hells Kitchen to become the crime lord Thing-Pin

I know its never said but I always thought the IT was actually a Reed Richards mutated instead of Ben Grimm...would make Doom's treatment of him make a whole lot more sense.

I think they know better than to put Doctor Doom in the same accident as the Fantastic Four. Also I don't think it will be another origin story.

They're not boring, they just haven't been done justice on the big screen yet. They're supposed to be a family of superhero explorers yet their movies have them spend 90% of the runtime sitting around doing nothing.
