Korean Stir-Fried Rice Cakes With Chicken - Rice Cakes From Scratch The Easy Way / Tteok

This Korean dish is made with rice cakes called Tteok, it also includes vegetables and chicken.

Rice cakes :
300g rice flour
150g tapioca starch
½ tsp salt
450g boiling water
1 tbsp sesame oil
Marinade:
1 chicken breast and 1 chicken thigh
2 garlic cloves
A pinch of salt
¼ tsp ground pepper
1 tsp rice syrup or honey
1 tbsp light soy sauce
½ tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch
Others :
4 napa cabbage leaves
100g mushrooms
¼ red pepper and ¼ green pepper
1 carrot
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp grated ginger
1 onion
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground pepper
1 tsp rice syrup or honey
1 tbsp sesame oil
4 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Koreans don't really make rice cakes at home from scratch because it's time consuming and work. 👏 to you and I definitely want to try your recipe!
