- Hi Babes! I've known how to Dutch braid for years, BUT this was the FIRST time trying on myself. I've been wanting to learn how to do it on myself for so long. Since we are in quarantine I finally had time to learn this new skill. I honestly learned how to do this in one day. So if I can do it, so can you! If you try this, let me know if my tips helped! Step 1: have thick hair.
My hair is baby hair fine. I have half of the amount of hair that you have on one half of your head on my entire head lol. Very thorough and thought out tutorial though! I’m going to try it with one braid down the middle.
I really don’t have that much hair😩 it’s very fine I just know how to give the illusion that I have a lot by adding certain products and the way I style it! I’m happy this tutorial helped you practice makes perfect💖

hey girly🤍🤍 this tutorial is so helpful but i cant get the braid to start at the very top of my head do you have any tips?!!
Hay babe, so you take three small pieces to begin with. You have to cross all three pieces under each other before you start adding hair to them. All pieces go under middle strand. It starts as a regular three strand braid. So left piece going under the middle strand then right going under the new middle strand then you will have one more piece remaining and that will go under the middle. I hope this helps you💖💖

I can't style my hair when its wet or it'll nvr dry.. so I do it dry and u can add a light weight hairspray and brush thru it to give it grip.. my struggle is doing on my self going down a straight line
Body position is everything!! If you want a straight line pay close attention how your body is. Shoulders relaxed and arms to the side not above your head. If it’s not coming out straight your probably putting more pressure on one side. Try it again with this in mind💖

Aw babe trust me your not!! it does take some practice but just don’t give up too soon. I feel the biggest mistake I see is thinking you messed up already and starting over every time. You just have to continue the braid fully even if there’s mistakes. The whole starting again ruins your confidence. You got this💖
How come mine doesn’t like stay on top like yours
Tension is really important in braiding. Make sure your tightening after every piece that goes into the braid!!❤️❤️
