Can also be applied to braiding wires to make a cable with lower capacitance than merely twisting all the wires around each other.

I'm a dude with long hair that doesn't really have any idea how to manage it. I've been looking for decent tutorials that aren't too "zomg guize sparkle sparkle" influencer nor too advanced. I imagined I would be able to find beginner stuff on men-oriented channels since it's more likely for a man than for a woman to have long hair without any knowledge of how to style it, but I felt kind of bad specifically looking for male CZcamsrs in the only sector CZcams that has more women than men.
Then I found this video, which is to the point, clear, no-bullshit, and very helpful, and I subscribed.
So, when I saw what the rest of your channel was about, I found it pretty funny.
Hahaha I have almost the same story (I'm trans, but same issue of not being taught in my childhood how to manage long hair). This one was a bit too beginner overall for me, but your comment made me look at the rest of the channel anyways, and I'm also subscribed now!

Trust me I’m 25 year old female and I still didn’t know how to do braids until 3AM and that’s because my son (3year old) just woke me up because he wet the bed and he needed me to help him make his bed,have a shower and then get new pyjamas on. I've just completed a massive five-year grow out project from a super short pixie cut (I used to use #4 clippers on the sides and back so it was _really_ short!!) and these absolute beginner tutorials are so helpful to me as someone who has literally never had long hair before in their life (really)!!
An absolute god send. I'm 30 and literally haven't done this before. I use a pony tail growing up then for the past 7 years had a short cut. 😌😌 I've always been impressed when other girls had braids.

Noone taught me how to do it but when I was small, my mom had really long hair and still does so I used to play with it and somehow I managed to braid it now I'm a pro at it

You have to brush very throughly :)
Maybe try to put the three strands in between your fingers and brush it

How do you avoid getting tangled at the end while braiding? Mine always gets caught in a reverse braid
Brush/fingerbrush the sections all the way to the ends after each stitch, so the strands are free before you start the next

I did not get it and I do not have the patience
I give up. This is basically just saying, part your hair, then braid it. No. It just gets fricking tangled. I have super long hair and am too old not to know how to do this but no one will tell me how to do this without it getting tangled or hair falling out. It doesn't work.
Sounds like you're not keeping tension on all three sections. Can't let go of any of them! There's a link in the description to the text and photo tutorial, maybe that will help you more. It does take practice!
