I feel too nervous to go into salons to ask them to teach me. But I'm at a loss with my daughter's hair. I want to cry sometimes 😢 I want her to go to school cute and proud of her beautiful hair. Note to self: When u add the hair be sure to grab hair from the opposite side for ex: when adding hair to the right piece, grab hair from the left side hair
@@JemilahAliyou are welcome. You can also twist the hair with 2 sections VS 3 in the same manner you would for corn rows/french braids. Then is called flat twisting. Looks similar to corn rows.
I tried it but my hair didn’t look good it looks bad and then my hack area hair didn’t get tight it’s lose 😩😩 I need to practice on my fiancé bc I suck 😊
@JemilahAli This is not a cornrow or a french braid. These are called Dutch braids. A french braid is braided overhand and becomes flat. Great video by the way. Now I'll be able to braid my daughter's hair better than before.. Thank you
How I learned was searching up French/dutch(mostly french tho)braid tutorials. Their usually on straight hair but cornrows are the same thing I found out and the only difference is that the ones she did are pulled closer to your head

Think of it as plaiting underhand.
Underhand produces canerows and overhand gives guinea.

Underrated vid
Corn row is opposite of regular braids for French braid. Just go under with the sections VS going over the top.

Lots and lots of practice. I started with doing a flat twist. That helped me with get the hand movements down.
