Disagreement on fundamental issues 'not hate speech'

- Sky News contributor Catherine McGregor says “disagreement on fundamental matters is not hate speech” after author J.K Rowling came under fire for comments made on Twitter regarding transgender people.
Ms Rowling re-tweeted and commented on an article which read “1.8 billion girls, women and gender non-binary persons menstruate”.
She said “People who menstruate? “I'm sure there's a word for those people, Someone help me out. Womben? Wimpund? Woomud?”.
“I think her position is entirely reasonable,” Ms McGregor said.
“The simple fact of it is this, she has basically said that she has taken umbrage at a term -- people who menstruate - and said isn’t there a word for that, namely women.
Ms McGregor, who labels herself a transsexual, told Sky News she finds gender dysphoria “distressing and unless you’ve lived through it, it is very hard to explain”.
“None of us ever thought we claimed the title of womanhood, by adjusting our physical identity to adjust to our feelings as a matter of sheer survival.
“As dispiriting as this cancel culture is becoming, it is actually amusing to watch the left devour itself.
“Because the people with the most skin in the game are gender critical feminists, who write from a theoretical and abstract position.
“Their slogan is we will not be erased, but they insist on erasing anyone who doesn’t conform to their linguistic gymnastics and their version of reality.””

When I had to get my birth certificate from NSW I was given the option of removing my father from the certificate! Not only would I have removed my father but his mother and father would not have been my grandparents. We are now permitted to change the truth of history. I always learn alot from listening to Catherine who is a very intelligent truthfully objective person.
Here in the UK, one apparently now has the option of not just removing the father, but adding anyTHING as "second parent" or whatever they call it now!
There will soon be a lot of people unknowingly committing incest because they are being denied knowledge of their own parentage, background and family history!
And there will be even more people who have to take DNA tests to establish what race they are because, since they are being denied knowledge of their fathers, they are also being denied knowledge of what race and cultural background they are! And that is abuse of the highest order - I had to go through this because I was being denied knowledge of my real origins and had instead been fed a lie, I can assure you it's a terrible thing to go through not knowing who and what you are and needing a test to tell you such basic information.
I came here after watching Catherine's impressive discussion along with the very articulate Jordan Peterson. She continues to amaze me by her rationality.

Sorry to hear that, I get a lot of abuse on CZcams too, just for stating my opinion - or not even that, I've even been abused on a video about skincare where I commented with a few skincare tips. She might want to remember this next time she buys into an exaggerated sense of relevancy,she's an author, a very successful author and has been generous with her money,giving to various charities, I doubt she knows and loves many Trans, everyone who wants to be relatable and relevant has many friends who are perceived as a minority group, be they black,trans,Asians or muslim.she may know one or two in passing or a deeper level,but regardless if all women are to be believed and all women's stories are relevant,why is hers not?
