- It has been 23 years since I have visited the beautiful town of Bayeux and I couldn't be happier with my recent journey to this amazing Normandy town. Join me as I explore the town and visit the Bayeux Tapestry, the medieval town center, the British World War II cemetery, and much more. My passion for travel began in Normandy and it is a region that is very special to me. I hope you enjoy the video.

My Grandad stayed on after WW2 in Bayeux to assist with the war graves. God bless him. I have to visit Bayeux one day 🇫🇷 🇬🇧
Thanks for sharing. Yes, you should visit soon. Let us know how we can help make that happen.
Thank you so much. We will be visiting Bayeux in June. Can't wait.
Enjoy!
Thank you for such a wonderful video. We were planning on visiting the city to see the cathedral. I knew about the tapestry but I didn't know about the cemetery and the World War 2 museum I didn't realize that had a Saturday market. We're excited because we're coming on Saturday. Thanks again for your video
You are most welcome.
nice..🙂👍
Thanks for watching and your feedback!
I loved Bayeux. Don’t miss this wonderful place near Omaha Beach, which is one of the best places I have ever been. The Bayeux Tapestry was great to see
Thanks for watching. We have several videos on the area and our local WWII guides are amazing. Thanks again for sharing!
@@samuelgarza8925 We were there like around March 8-11 or so, 2020 so the beginnings of the pandemic. The streets of Bayeux were totally empty. Right before all restaurants closed up so we got lucky. We saw the tapestry and there was no one there. Same thing at Omaha Beach where my husband’s father fought on D-Day. It was a very memorable trip. Will never forget it. We went on to St. Malo and Mont St Michel, also had those places to ourselves as well. We had to hightail it back to Paris around March 13th when our flight back to the states got canceled. What a time!
Such a beautiful city
Yes, it is. Thanks for watching.
My wife and I are in Bayeux now and your video is spot on!! Beautiful town from every direction❤
It really is! Thank you!
Thank you for posting this excellent video! We'll be there in June, and now feel even more excited & enthusiastic about our visit.
Great to hear! I have a lot of resources on the ground there so if you need anything, please let me know. I can be reached at +34 653 06 9891. Safe travels!
An excellent video ! You cleverly show all the different aspects of this famous historic city. And it's well filmed, too. A real pleasure to watch. Congratulations (from Normandy) !!
Many thanks!
720p max is not quite a standard past 1990 for 'well filmed', imo. Sam has lots of information very well-documented indeed, but not well-filmed insofar as quality. 4K ought to be a minimum.
Thank you for the great video! I hope you get a lot more fans.
I hope so too!
Nice job, I will be there in May this was very helpful, really enjoy the video much appreciated
Glad you enjoyed it!
