    Since the Jat pack came out I've genuinely enjoyed using most scouts now, what makes them especially useful is trailblazing with them, they're usually small enough to squeeze through all the trees and stuff

    I still use my Loadstar to scout while picking up tasks and upgrades. It's an absolute joy to drive. I also use the F750 for light rescue and the 420 for stickier rescues. The Burlak? Well, that's just crazy. Another awesome video, Nate.

I used it in BC and it was able to do the most extreme dirt path from one watchtower all the way across and use just 22litres of fuel! default engine too.. super powerful :)

    For the Loadstar, I think you should have mentioned the effect of the loading crane! Due to its high mass the truck tends to sink through snow (/mud) and gain high traction for added speed. The thing can handle surprisingly deep snow.

    I also chose the Scout 800 as my main scouting truck. With 35 inch OHD's and the snowrunner gearbox, I climbed the vertical mud slope in smithville dam without winching. If the truck wasnt so bouncy and tippy, it'd be the perfect scout

    Another great Tier List video, and this time it essentially coincides with my tier list (the one I have in my head, I mean). The Burlak 6x6 is the scout vehicle that surprised me the most. Sure, it's not fun when it tips over, but that's amply outweighed by its positives. Not only it's great on ice - it's one of those vehicles that _keep going_ when they break through thin ice. And what's even more, it's actually good at rescuing other trucks stuck in broken ice. In my second playthrough I had a loaded Azov 73210 stuck in broken ice in Yellowrock National Forest, and the Burlak was able to drag it out and escort it to its destination. I was rather impressed, because initially the Burlak didn't give me the impression it was a good hauler, and felt a little underpowered for that. Also, I do use the Highrange gearbox with it simply because it gives the Burlak an additional fifth gear and makes it move a bit faster.
    Great work as usual with this video, Nathan! Keep it up! //Rick

    Well put, I appreciate your effort and care for this treasure of the game. This is the only game where I genuinely enjoy the driving every moment and have so much fun I forget the time and don’t tire of the game. It’s a gem and people need to give it a try especially after the first hour of driving, I know for some people the mud at the beginning can be frustrating but it’s realistic and once you get better tires on the starter pickup you can get everything unstuck lol

    Loving these tiered list videos. I’d be interested to hear as part of these which ones you find the most fun. That subjective measurement can be closely aligned to capabilities, but sometimes the poor vehicles are just plain enjoyable to mess around in. Perhaps it is the joy of over coming their deficiencies, it could be the view from the driver’s seat, the look of it, what ever it is. The most capable objects in any game can actually be the least fun to use. Loving the content, especially as someone new to this game.

    Season 12 is a great scout man, very fun. I used the land rover defenders and the neo falcon on the first map, each going down a different trail. The hummer is my favorite though ('murica!), fuel efficient, can carry another tank worth of fuel, good ground clearance, and it can tow easily. Also I have the JAT tires on all of them, and they definitely improve the scout class.

    27:38 THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Why that Burlak got a light trailer hitch before the Apache, the Hercules, and the Renegade, which are separate DLC trucks not a part of any season map, I will never figure out. Thank you for saying that, cause I don't think anyone else ever mentioned how broken that seems and how betraying that feels to the older scouts.
    Edit: Looking back for a second, that F-750 should've been given the light trailer hitch as well since it too has the heavy trailer hitch. It would only seem fair and would make it one broken scout to have as well. Those new fuel and repair scout trailers would make it one dangerous recovery vehicle to have a hold of.

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  Před 4 měsíci +1

      You're welcome. It's just too much for any truck to have 2 hitches at all. I would rather see the F750 with a scout hitch only. I think it would make it even more viable imho. Glad you enjoyed the video :)

  • @SHAdow98V
    @SHAdow98V Před 4 měsíci

    Honestly the CAT is surprisingly good,true it doesn't have any suspension so it literally feels like driving a normal truck with collapsed suspension but it performs rlly well. The two things i wish the devs changes were:
    1. give it trailer support even if it is just scout trailers it'll still be decent having the 2 slot trailer flatbed and maybe the ability to haul some fuel or suppiles
    2. make it so the fork acts as a 1 slot platform and the cargo can be "packed" on it basically locking the cargo on the fork cuz as it is it just feels way way too finicky to use even if you don't mind the slow nature of it and just want to RP the damn thing is so awful to use it drives you nuts,by the time you loaded 2 cargos you probably would've delivered it across the map 3 times -_-
    Also imo most scout vehicle tires should have their codings doubled,scouts suffer most from lack of grip and no1 ever sees the codings anyway so most ppl will assume they're grippier cuz they're lighter which is indeed the feeling a scout should give you if you played the original spintires you know what i mean. Sadly in this game scouts are almost useless other than some small mandatory scouting which sometimes is worth doing but most of the times you do it with a truck anyway AND RP purposes. Having better unique tires would be good for scouts, higher values than normal trucks since the scout tires are used for scouts only anyway and boom scouting and scout vehicles are great again.

  • @sgt_kissekatt6686
    @sgt_kissekatt6686 Před 4 měsíci

    I feel like the Scout 800 was done dirty, id objectively place it in B, personaly A.
    Mostly cus of its massive range/silly low fuel consumption.
    With roof rack I believe it had or close to two refills of its fueltank, right setup and itd use tiny amount of fuel.
    It could get through most terrain, thin so even forests.
    Biggest downside is stability with roofrack, but not putting it sideways on hills/electric winch negates that to the most part.
    Oh and it sucks at pulling trailers, but need to for scouting alone.

    Nice video Nathan! I’ve been away from the game for over a year but starting to play it again now. 😎 For the Loadstar and F 750 you prefer the UOD II over the JAT tires? I thought JAT was supposed to make the scouts better? Which JAT tires would be best for the Loadstar and F 750? Thanks in advance if you can help me out with this choice! 🙏

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Thank you! I do prefer UOD2s over the JAT tires for these because I feel they are both really stable already. The loadstar and the F750 have Truck tires not scout tires so it’s a little different. If you needed more lateral stability with those trucks (I don’t think you do) then the JAT OMD3 is a good pick. Hope that helps

    As I have been exploring maps, keep in mind I just finished Michigan and I started Alaska, I have been using the Crocodile (DLC) to explore maps for a few reasons. 1) It has great ability to go through terrain and it's still low enough to with a suspension raise to go under and between trees. 2) I like having a low saddle on it so as I am exploring I can move trailers to complete the simple tasks and make some money while exploring. 3) as is still has a hitch to pull dolly trailers so I can move fuel trailers such to areas that would be better for having my trucks out in the world. Anyone else do this?

    Tatarin insane (broken op imo because of tires mud stat 8 i ended nerfing it down to 4 : still very good) but fuel consumption quite high
    Loadstar is very good but 41'' tires isn't enough, it'll stuggle in medium mud/snow.
    F750 very good but quite big and can become tippy with roof addon (like most scouts) so i only put non roof addons.

I will take my scout 800 over any other truck any day, Just because I like the way it looks, it's more of a challenge, especially on uneven surfaces. You said Apache was like the Yar? Not really, the Yar doesn't have 2WD at all. It's either 4x4 (front and middle axle powered, rear axle off) or 6X6 (all axles powered). So the Apache is the only truck that strickly goes into FWD when AWD is turned off.
    Pretty good list. I hold the Chevy CK1500 is higher regard then the Hummer H2 though. 1500 has great balance, even before the JAT's it made it through so much more mud and snow then I would have thought. Everything from floating across rivers, to getting much bigger trucks unstuck. Mud, water, power, balance, can have full supplies and still hook trailers, 1500 has it all. Only thing that does it is it's one of, if not the thirstiest light 4X4 scouts with it's top engine. But it's roof rack gives it enough fuel to not make this a severe issue at least.
    Hummer H2 isn't bad, but 1500 has overall impressed me just so much more over the past 3, going into 4 years.
    TUZ 166 is great, a highly underrated little beast that car is.

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  Před 7 dny +1

      For scouts, since they can’t really haul much I would say it matters a little less because they just don’t weigh a lot. Now weight on the other hand is very important because weight=increased grip, but decreased power to weight. However scouts never really have issues with power to weight. Scouts that are heavier show to handle trailers better. Lighter scouts just don’t handle them as well due to the trailer weighing more or as much than the scout itself. I hope that kinda makes sense. Torque values matter, but they matter more to hauling class trucks that can put cargo on their frames or saddles more

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  Před 4 měsíci

      Super Conditions are basically the Thickest Mud &/or Snow In the game. These areas have vastly reduced in occurance since the Year 2 maps. They really arent in many areas

      Super Conditions, are areas of the deepest snow or mud where only a few trucks in the game can traverses based on their tires size &/or tire width

    I personally don't think the burlak should be a scout, there's nothing that really requires it to be a scout, if you look at say the tatra 805 that is a off-road truck, if you put them side by side it dwarfs it

  • @jocking3b510
    @jocking3b510 Před 2 měsíci

    The Burlak is like F tier. The engine is so weak, it struggles in even very light mud.

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  Před 2 měsíci

      Locking its DIFF with 80K torque and those tires will alleviate that. Also Towing cargo with a scout is also not really a good idea due to the trailer weight and the cargo weight being much heavier than the vehicle and load weight on vehicle axles. Hope that helps. no vehicle should be nerfed if there is mods in the game

  • @Rage_Spammer
    @Rage_Spammer Před 4 měsíci +1

    IMO the Burlak is at the top of A. It drives frustratingly slow because it just can't put what little power it has down on any uneven terrain. It just ends up spinning one wheel at the speed of low+, so actually switching to low+ and using diff lock usually doesn't help all that much. Same issue with the T813. Also the inboard winch points effectively make it almost impossible to upright by itself. Great tires, onboard fuel and repair, efficiency, and scout trailers bring it up to A.
    Besides that, good list and vid. Glad to see the bread loaf in A. Only recently discovered how good that and the Loadstar are. Wish I discovered that before I was over halfway through all the seasons.

    The Kahn Marshall nerfs i will never understand why they desided to nerf it the way they did. At the release of the game yes it was very OP for the terrain available at the time i dont think there is anyone that used it back then that would disagree on that. But slicing the fuel tank nearly in half was the dummest nerf possable. The last thing u wanna have to worry about in a scout truck is running out of fuel and thats exactly what that nerf did to it. If u could hook up a scout trailer to it it wouldent have been such a bad move but u cant so the nerf took it from being an easy S-tier scout to borderline useless unless u know u got a fuel station or a trailer on the map where u need to go.

      Yet it even has a scout trailer hitch modelled on its rear bumper
      AND in the truck file it even got a line saying ExcludeAddons="scout_trailer_flatbed_1, scout_trailer_flatbed_2, scout_trailer_oiltank", so what about the rest of the scout trailers?
      ........like wtf

    • @Shiftry87
      @Shiftry87 Před 4 měsíci

      @@iSkiLLeTXx Yeah not sure how they missed that part for a preorder vehicle. In the wiki it says under scout trailers.
      "Can be towed by scout class vehicles that have a Scout Hitch" and also list the scout class trucks that cant use it as they lack a hitch so the Khan only has the hitch visable as a none functional model. Its almost like they noticed how powerful it really was before launch so instead of changing the model they edited out its ability to attatch a trailer.

    I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but the loaf is just not that good and I never see myself using it.
    I understand why people like it, the novelty factor is there and it's cute and all but it's not a very competent scout on harder maps.
    It's not all that stable either, it definitely lands on its wheels extremely easily but I wouldn't say it's hard to flip.

    I liked all the other lists. They felt a little rushed, but... Fine 90% of the time.

      The other tier list were not rushed actually nor has any of these if you look at the length of past tierlists (prior to the newest installments). I've been working on placement and what I was planning to say since the Year 3 maps started coming out. I dont feel I need to repeat things I've already said on Truck Reviews. Keep in mind these are tier lists, not a truck reviews. If you;d like more info, like I've said on all my tierlists videos (new and old) please go look at my reviews on them
