    My ford galaxy has just started to do this thought it was the battery no, nor the alternator

    Hi. So to fix this issue you re-soldered the 3 connections on the the back of the dashboard screen? Could you please explain in more detail as I can not find a post anywhere to fix this issue thank you

      I found if you reflow that area with a hot air rework station and liquid flux, it would be ok. Wouldn't try it with a soldering iron, unless you know what your doing. Hope this helps.

      Yeah after alot of digging. It was actually the cluster (converse unit)itself. Managed to reflow part of the effected circuit board and hey presto.

      Mine keeps doing this too but it will cut right off and have to stick code back in.
