    Changing the radio/cd/ in my 2010 titanium Mondeo, for a sat nav/radio/cd unit and hadn't a clue how to remove the unit...after watching your excellent video, I now know how it's done and looking forward to exchanging it.
    BIG thanks for taking the time to film and explain the procedure!!

    Garage wanted £30 to fit second hand 6000 cd player in my Ford Mondeo, seen you're video mate.
    Thought I would give it a try myself, took me about an hour, but got there in the end.
    Thanks once again
    Ronnie

      Thats a rip off £30 to fit a radio. Honestly mate glad you done it yourself. Thats why i make these videos to help save others some money. Cheers for watching mate

    Good job. Funny how my starter button was to the right of the radio in the triangle piece and yours isn’t. Mine was the 2.0L version. Maybe that’s the difference. Thought you might have needed a radio code though. I’ve seen that radio in a car before. My wife thinks it as in a car Ford we rented in the US. Like it.

    • @ChazzCoombes
      @ChazzCoombes  Před 3 lety

      Yeah i seen that im some models of the Mk4. With this radio no code is needed, and its a nice upgrade from the other stock one.

    There usually is already usb and phono conectivity in fords, i think it's located inside the glove box on the Mondeo.
    I could be mistaken.

    My worry with changing for a cheap chinese stereo with satnav, Android and stuff is that it might sound shit.
    The standard stereo actually sounds OK. Has decent bass, reasonable volume.
    Guess I need to spend more....

    What did you need to do to get the steering wheel working with the new radio? Did you need to buy a seperate cable, and if so, which?

      The mondeo mk4 has a jack 3.5mm jack socket in the glove box. Plays when aux selected.

    Hi, did you get the iPod actually working on this stereo? Like real iPod (iPhone ideally), not just USB flash drive with music...also, what about the RDS? Is it showing the radio name on the display? And in the instrument cluster? Thanks ;)
