The Celtics play Joe's system. He's the one managing the locker room. He's the one that turned a "bad bench" into one of the most efficient of the entire league. He's the one that keeps the players focused because when you're so good it's very easy to give a half-assed effort every game hoping your talent alone is going to bail you out.
The man is just 35 and he's managed to be respected like a long tenured coach. He took over a team a week before the season started, with a staff that wasn't his. Will Hardy left in the off-season, Damon Stoudamire left before the playoffs. Even with all that he managed to have a pretty good season and playoffs run and now he's been able to fully implement his ideas with no setbacks whatsoever.
If you think any coach could have done that then as I said, you have no idea.
