Is this where fashion has gone? Where’s the styling? Besides Ali Wong at least attempting a daring dress and styling it with blinged out glasses, no one actually styled the dresses!!!! It’s all women who slapped the dress on and did simple make up to match the dress. A few earrings but nothing too impressive. I miss the red carpet that either had daring outfits or amazing styling.
@@user-wi6cz4hh5b my statement still stands. Greta Lee’s dress is beautiful but there is a major difference between wearing a dress and styling it. In the past few years of fashion, I find that a lot of celebrities simply wear a dress, do simple makeup, and keep their hair straight. There used to be a time where celebrities styled the outfit with clutches, necklaces and matching earrings, rings. Now I see no styling. Let’s look at Margot Robbie. I agree the dress execution doesn’t match the concept drawing but with right styling, it could’ve made the look work. I would’ve gone bold sharp sunglasses, pink long gloves on the right hand only. Lean into that dramatic asymmetrical look. Instead, it just looks like a little black dress that’s being swallowed by a pink fabric monster. And the only jewelry you see in on her ankle. She is wearing earrings but her hair style parts one way and the pink monster eats the other ear up.
@@user-wi6cz4hh5b if we look at Greta Lee’s dress, it’s very simple but yet dramatic. She could’ve styled it a little bit more by having a diamond tennis bracelet, I’d keep the neck bare because the dress already does a good job around that area, sparklier earrings (probably something in a design that looks like fireworks or a flower), and a clutch. If you notice, her poses are both hands together in front of her, it looks very awkward. A simple small clutch would fix that awkward pose and I’d lose the ring, it’s just a large ring that looks like an afterthought as you run out of the house. The back of the dress though is enough drama to keep the rest of the styling very simple.
I’m so dumb, I kept hearing people say Vivienne Westwood and I thought they were talking about Vivienne Kensington from legally blonde. But I was so confused why people would want her style. It makes so much more sense that it’s a brand 😭
Ok. Here I go. I don't like what Billie Eilish is wearing. I don't think I've ever liked what she wears, except for maybe the black, tight bodiced, floor length gown, with black hair and Goth overtones....the rest is either baggy, odd shapes and colours and generally extremely unflattering. Extremely. There i said it.
So much for helping to shape the fashion industry. I mean, I guess you are simply pretending. Perhaps ya just like everything, and all the time, eh? Meh, “There, there now - from here forth - I do declare that there will be absolutely no legitimate arguments nor feedback for; designers, past + future collections, aesthetic trends, material productions, or the science of artistic phenomenology, etcetera, etcetera, etc…” Your lack of diverse critiques is hard to listen. There’s no cogent discourse, and you don’t share any sort diverse or distinct perspective. Unfortunately your commentary leaves little to the imagination. How can the fashion industry respond or evolve without so much as an offer of reflective criticism and/or feedback to all those in the industry.
It is absolutely WILD to me that Ariana Greenblatt is only 16.
HUHHH?/??!
@uselessSam IKRRRRRR ITS SHOCKING
fr?!??! I thought she was the same age as me or older 😭
i totally agree a gorgeous pearl necklace would've elevated the look so much. but the dress in and of itself is magnificent!!!!
I know we’ve all been saying this for a while now but really why is almost no one wearing necklaces anymore like 😭
possibly to shift attention to the dress and hair
@@wavegaming2833what hair like everyone is either leaving it straight or wavy they're doing nothing 😭
Cuz necklaces are not always needed
no like because the vibe's all minimalist they probably think they're overdoing it but like they're actually underdressed
The Balmain is EVERYTHING!!! ❤
the balmain is so simple yet stunning🤚🤩💘💥
there was a serious lack of accessories - too much blank necks
These dress review shorts are so fun!!

You’re not dumb! Not everyone knows everything all at once. It’s much more interesting this way! 😅
I’m just happy Laverne nailed it this time !! Yay 💕

The outfits at the baftas last week were so much better.
No the pearls would make it too much. The look is perfect
The end of Glamour.

Wait I watched Maddie grow up with me and she's older than me??!?
Literally didn’t kno one single person you jus showed aside from Allie Won’t and the short clip of billie at the end lol

Ali's dress would have killed it if Anya Taylor Joy wore it. Ali looks to be over ppwered by it

Can Margot stop with the pink? Ever since Barbie she's being going all out on it.

Look at Liza Soberano!!
Nooo,.,…… a complex braid would not be fun. U don’t want people to look like cosplays or caricatures omg.

I love Selena Gomez, but she was sitting before the photo unfortunately.
