- Time is running out to get a performance headpipe for your bike that DOESN'T have a catalytic converter. My favorite exhaust manufacturer (you know who that is) has moved all head pipes to the Race Use Only section of their website (because they're just for racers), and soon they will be gone altogether. Go grab one while you can!

I live in New York we can’t even have aftermarket pipes for inspection lol
Depends on where you go. I live in Clinton ny and there's a couple places that will pass it here with the exhaust
@@sarahandty6009and I’m literally that inspector! As long as they have baffles I pass them, I wasn’t going to have my home town become another town like lake George Ny! But that doesn’t mean the troopers can’t pull you over for loud exhaust because your blasting on them at the wrong time!
They have cracked down on tuning too.
Fp3 vs fp4 is a prime example. FP4 took away everything that made the FP3 so popular

It’s nationwide and it’s nothing new, it’s been against the law to remove or circumvent emissions equipment on “on-road” vehicles ever since emissions equipment was mandated. It’s just now the EPA is cracking down on it since (thanks to the internet) it’s apparent there is blatant disregard for the regulations and further people and businesses are making profit from the practice.

Between the EPA and NY State banning loud exhaust it was inevitable
Aftermarket pipes don't need to be loud to perform better anymore.

I have a 21 Road Glide Limited and am looking for a tuner that can autotune, that is easy to use for dyno tuners, and that retains the ability to use my factory add-ons like WHIM and that is also reliable. If I run 2 into 2 on my 2024 street glide would that void the warranty? Should I just get slip ons or do it all?
It really depends on the relationship you have with your dealer.
@@ProfessionalMonkey thanks for the reply. I called them and they said 2 into 2 would help it run cooler. The warranty would be voided if I went with a non epa tune. My question to you now is am I wasting money on the pipes if I choose an epa tune and should I just stick to slip ons. I feel like if I change the pipes that the sound will also be improved.

I believe that if I have the ESP program from Harley, I’m not allowed to remove the catalytic converters from my bike.
Am I wrong? Has the litigation that Harley-Davidson lost in court changed that fact?

I’ve been wondering how long it would take for the bureaucracy to catch up with the aftermarket. Sadly, it will destroy a segment of the market. But a window of opportunity will be the process of cutting, removing the offensive stuff and welding the pipe back together.
All 3 letter agencies need the wing clipped. They are out of control.

@ProfessionalMonkey i say this because i too am trying to buy what i want little by little and then install once you have everything together i.e. tab .50 cal slip ons, headers, tuner, breather
I hate control freak states like CA MA IL NY for this shit, in my state NV, motorcycles are exempt, that's right. no fucking smog check, just pay the plate fee and have insurance. The shit being done in the control freak states can still be a pain in the ass for us though, like product availability and price on shit you guys "can't" have.

Yeah, but the pipe shape isn’t best for max flow, it’s sized for a cat so you end up with a big open volume in the middle.

And to think we live in a 'free' country. Thankfully I can probably get away with it in Wyoming. Once I get some money saved I'm gonna hop off the sportbike and right onto a hog, and it will be straight piped whether Uncle Sam likes it or not!
