What's your portable go to espresso gear? If you're interested in any products shown in the video, they're all linked in the description

always glad to see a post from you!
I think this product seems like its another product in search of an audience.
I'm having a hard time seeing the overlap of people who love espresso and making it so much that they HAVE to have it even when traveling + the people who are willing to accept the limitations of what this set has to offer.
I also think rechargable/battery powered grinders are just another weird niche. I cant imagine youre out there cranking out espresso for like 5 people a day on most portable setups, so in that case either have a plug in the wall grinder that doesnt have a battery that'll slowly degrade until it's e-waste, or grind manually.
I dont know, there's a lot of espresso products out there anymore that just make me think that theyre not being designed carefully by coffee people.

@@willmitchell8500 you're not wrong. I did also took a look on amazon to see what people had to say and it was all very positive which leads me think they're not the most espresso savvy people. And that's fine, that may be their market. People that are upgrading from Nespresso. Though this would be more work and still need to learn so that'd be surprising

have a look at this though, czcams.com/users/shortswPJ2Pj276EI this *could* possibly lead to amazing espresso, although with the manual pump you can still the gauge isn't consistent as goes up/down in pressure as you pump, if the water temperature could be more accurate somehow. Me putting boiling hot water at 212F, after touching the inner chamber at room temp would go down to about 200F from memory. At the end of the day, real espresso manually done, is iffy. The FLAIR seems to be the only decent manual espresso machine but even then, it won't have the consistency of a machine that manages pressure and temperature accurately.

@@GadgetsGearCoffee Keep it up! Also, great info. You're the only one whose answered my question of grind size between each step. I use the 1zpresso J-Max which has an 8.8 micrometer step adjustment and that's great for espresso. The J-Ultra has an 8 micron step adjustment, which is even better. All I basically need is an electric motor to attach it to my hand grinder and I'm golden. The Key MK II would be a dream come true for me and I will buy it some time this year but this grinder from Staresso just looked amazing. Thank you for taking the time to make this video! You've helped me a lot to makea valid decision.
