I Got Scared Paragliding Off Mt Saint Helens Volcano Summit - 4K VLOG 214

I do a solo journey to climb and fly off the volcano known as Mount Saint Helens in Washington State. The wing I'm flying is an ultralight single surface wing that does not perform very well in turbulent wind conditions. It was a no wind morning as I was preparing to launch, with a few small puffs of wind from the lee side of the mountain. After launching the winds suddenly picked up from the wrong direction, creating a severe turbulence where I was flying in the lee side of the mountain, taking me for a terrifying ride. After getting rocked around for a good bit I quickly landed in a snowfield halfway up the mountain, happily walking down safely the rest of the way. Adventures in the PNW continue throughout the rest of the Vlog as I meet up with some friends for rock climbing in the Columbia River Gorge. I then drive through the beautiful North Cascade Highway past Lake Diablo into Leavenworth to meet up with fiends for further shenanigans.
