- After leaving Manihiki atoll the Kwai and her crew sails a couple more days across another vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean for Nassau island. Another incredibly remote island that never receives any tourism. Not many folks know there's a Las Vegas homestay on the remote island just waiting to host any travelers willing to visit! A large ship wreck is even wedged in the channel nearly blocking any vessels from coming or going. This island has the classical castaway feel to it; I certainly wouldn't mind getting stranded in this tropical paradise for a bit of time. My local friend had been for fifty years!

That graveyard! 100 years?! Find the history! Any history that has survived. Love this❣️
It seemed like you made old mates day. What a magical looking island. I just looked on google maps to see where these islands are, that is so remote!
What a great adventure you are having. Thank you for documenting and sharing.
Thanks
Epic destination! What an unforgettable scooter ride. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Best Channel in the Universe! What a trip! Cheers!
Oh wow, such a beautiful island! ! Love the approach drone footage from the Kwai over the wreck on the reef. Just love your island vlogs, Cameron :) thank you and can't wait for more!
I must admit i am so glad the old islander had no interest in a face book account. The world has gone bad. But not for him.
Your vídeos are great 👏🏻, a hug from brazil 🇧🇷
It was 87F in Wenatchee/Leavenworth last week. So kind of the same this time of year.
Cam! What's the storey with the shipwreck? Was it an accident or was it sunk intentionally to protect the channel from the waves? The Islands with a lagoon and a safe anchorage have a massive advantage over the Islands that don't however I soppose if the people like to maintain their traditional lifestyle without outside influences, then maybe not having a safe anchorage and being very remote is a good thing?. Another Great Video!
I believe it was an accident. We also had the same situation on our island of Mauke located in the southern Cooks. The owner or company of the boat would have copped a heavy fine. It's cheaper for them to leave it there plus the damage to the reef. Not worth touching.
Simply amazing places. I am from Big Island of Hawaii where are devastated by little fire ant. I would like to educate these people to prevent the same disaster.
the shipwreck was an caught in low tide back in 2014 I think it was
isnt there any way that you could go back to panning?
What an sucky spot to have that wreck, but nice place to wreck at;)
Nassau and Pukapuka are not tourism friendly, although they do get small group of visitors every now and then.
Wait, there is a South Pacific Nassau? Nassau is the Bahamas. Weird.
It is weird indeed. But what is even more weird is that both places seemed to be named arbitrarily: Nassau, Bahamas was named after a German town. Nassau, Cook Islands was named after a whaling ship.
Bro can you please film fishing and the people and cooking because I really don’t want to see the same face half of the video.
Nice place. Why no mangos? They would grow so well there.. Avocados and limes and lychees, as well.
Pineapple aswell
Awesome life your living , Never stop !!!!
Peace & Much Love Brother ❤️💋
