  • After living on Tabuaeran for nine months of my life, I later leaned that this would be a rather small day of surf on this magical island. My first experience with the Kwai as it arrives on Tabuaeran delivering cargo to the most remote islands in the Pacific.

Cargo Sailing makes a Global come back. Sailcargo Inc. Costa Rica has an entire shipard setup for building one Cargo Shooner after another.
Scotish People are Trying to Save the Falls of Clyde out of American Hands since years since they just leave her in port to rot, that 75m 4 Masted Squarrigger has more tonnage than all global cargo sailing vessels combined.
Fair Transport: Tress Hombress Atlantik Trade, Nordlys Europe from Portugal all the way up to Norway and the Baltic.
Timbercoast: Avontuur wich only during First and Second world war was not Sailing and 2-3 years after the Owner died. up to that point every Week a full haul of Cargo in the Antills, Anny von Hamburg a slightly larger size than Avontuur was planed to be turned into Cargo but interior is to high quality so its going to be Charted by Fair Ferry to transfer People.
Brigantes, Italy: Brigantes Sistership/typ to Anny von Hamburg and the Brig Eye of the Wind, currently under Restoration in Sicily.
USA: Project Luna - Charlston, Schooner Appoliona , Schooner Pursuit Historical Society wich lost their Ship because of lack of financial suport + no Maintenance from privius Owner, Scraped by the Marina.
British Columbia: Providence sailing Cargo in NW Canada
Pacific: Kwai , Ceiba - Sailcargo Inc.
      Carebean: Schooner Ruth , Barbados
England: Solent Windship Trust - planned 3 Mast Shooner, Shipyard that build a Pilot Cutter in Cornwall plans to rebuild a Wrecked Schooner for cargo sailing that was burried in the mud of the coast, Grayhound a Lugger Sailing in the English Channel, Falls of Clyde - Scotland + a lot of smaller ones.
then in Baltic some Shooner Ketch who's name i cant remember and the Hawila that i Sailed on a couple times now.
if you want to join there is a Place in Netherlands where you can get Bosun , Costal Sailing and International Sailing License for Comerical operations. Course starts October/November until May i think. ezsenglish.weebly.com/ezs-info-engl.html i plan on geting Coastal and then International and then get a Cargo Sloop. in total i recon 50-60k Euro for Lincense + Housing+ Provisions + Some Random old Hulk from the internet and refiting it.
For Example The Brigantine Tress Hombress wich operates now since over 10 years used to be a Kriegsfischkutter. WW2 German coastal patrol/minelayer used for fishing after war.
plenty of these are for sale in the Baltic Area wich are not converted to sailing yet. with the whole Corona thing i recond the prices to drop even lower. some i spoted for 15-20k Euro and the whole Ketch rigging for 7500 Bowspit, 2 Masts, All sails + Spare ones. just Yeet the Iron/Aluminum Superstructure and get rid of the Engine and Generators and replace them with something smaller. First Tallship i was on had the Engine of a Ford Focus Spare parts everywhere you go where a carshop is and way cheaper than everything that has Marine Use stamped on it like Volvo Penta, they only get like 2-3 Hours run time per Sailing Season.
