- When I came across this in the game it immediately reminded me of when Grievous slaughtered the Nightsisters with the Droid army in the Clone Wars TV Series
There are so many Clone Wars references in Fallen Order, I'll post them all eventually
Thanks for watching - Hry
The fact that grievous was referenced in fallen order was awesome enough but reminding us that he nearly killed all of the nightsisters, even better
Got chills the second she said "armored warrior", he's always been one of my favorite villains
One of the very few times Grievous actually did something cool in both the show and in the entire Canon as a whole
@@randomname1076 Most people would assume she meant Vader because so many people to this day still deny themselves the vibrant extended storytelling merely because its animated. It's a shame.
Imagine seeing that scene in the game but never watching the Clone Wars. You'd think the armored warrior would be Darth Vader. But if you watched the show you'd know that it was the Big G who did genocide on the Nightsisters.
The big G ahaha nice
zach lor I thought she was talkin bout Vader at first but then I read the codex and it said grevious I forgot he ran down on dathomir 😅
@@Quet723 I actually watched the episode that Grevious attacked and it was awesome
Im gonna start calling Grievous that from now on. Lol
Merrin: "an Armored warrior"
Me: VADER, DOOKU, WAT TAMBOR, WHO THE HELL IS IT
*flashback to "Massacre" episode*
Me: oh, its fricking Grievous
I love it when Grievous get's to appear as the killer that he was. Wasn't shown too much in Clone Wars except in this instance.
Well there was also the Lair of Grievous episode where they find Grievous’s collection of lightsabers taken from all the Jedi he’s murdered.
Didn’t really show him killing much in that episode. But hey, at least his kill score is still there.
I’ve said it before and I’ll stand by it til I die. I love TCW but I HATE how badly the show mistreated Grievous, the show made him look almost as incompetent as his battle droids which is just disrespect. He should’ve been portrayed as a merciless monster who above all else wanted to kill Jedi.
@@tristanlambert658 I agree
@@tristanlambert658 well at least we still have his original clone wars version.
To be fair he was pretty strong in the 2008 Clone War considering he was able to put up with and sometimes beat Council Members
The scars of the Clone Wars will take a lot of time to heal, even more if they are constantly being opened up again.
Yeah,it's opened alot in this game too
Ironic she confused grievous as a jedi, and not knowing he was killed by one.
She probably did because he had blue and green sabers instead of the red ones that the sith had. It also explains why she trust the hooded man.
He wasnt He whas shot down by count douku
@@miran.2236
Killed by Obi-Wan.
@@terminallove3531 i know but count douku made him a cyborg
@@miran.2236
That story isn't cannon (I think).
I love grievous so much!
He was a bold one too
Its only been 5 years after the Clone Wars and the Jedi Purge but a lot can happen in 5 years.
I really liked that continuity on how the nightsisters were massacred by grevious. Plus I feel bad for Merrin for being alone and witnessed her peoples massacre. But I don’t feel bad for the night sister themselves since they’ve done horrible things to their males and responsible for savage oppress (his transformation into a monster and killed feral)
Sub Scorpion#9 what the Nightsisters have done is indeed malevolent, and their powers of darkness so great that Palpatine himself eventually desired for Mother Talzin to die. But everything they did paled in comparisons to the dark designs of Sidious’s plans to conquer the entire galaxy.
Plus after Ventress failed to exact her revenge on Dooku by using Savage, she just wanted to live out the rest of her days in peace with her Nightsister kin. So despite the Nightsisters not exactly being innocent of crimes and atrocities, not even they deserved to be slaughtered by Grievous’s droid army in what was nothing more than an act of revenge rather than war.
I agree, they’re a lesser evil compared to the likes of Sidious, which I why I feel bad for the likes of ventress and merrin who survived that massacre. But I’m glad the night brothers don’t have to continue being breeding factories of the night sisters, experimented on, or in general be treated like shit (the downside is eventually driven to extinction without night sisters to breed with to have sons)
Sub Scorpion#9 the species of the Nightbrothers and Maul are called Zabrak. And they also exist on the planet Iridonia, not just Dathomir.
I mean the zabrak on dathomir, the night brother culture, not the zabrak race itself
Sub Scorpion#9 yes, what I meant was at least it’s not complete extinction.
Someone tell we spawn entertainment to making General Grievous DLC I would pay enough money to get that DLC
r/boneappletea
And it will just be about him killing nightsisters
This scene when Grievous kills nightsisters should be in Fallen Order as retrospection of Merrin
She'd probably be happy to know that Grievous is dead.
Order 66 occured shortly after Grivous' death. Cere and Cal don't even know that he is dead so they can't tell her.
@@seretith3513 Once Kenobi found him on Utapau, everyone in the Republic heard about it. They also know that Obi-Wan survived for some time afterwards and Grievous isn't leading any armies so...
Better yet, she was manipulated that the Jedi was behind her sufferings, whilst, it was a Jedi that inadvertently avenged her people by killing the true perpetrator behind their deaths.
"descended upon us" as Grievous takes out all 4 sabers is a really cool visual
I feel bad for Merrin but the Nightsisters deserved it
Yes
Shit If I was grievous I would have turned there whole planet to glass or had the night sisters crucified lol
Why?
@@rithikdhakshnamoorthy2974they were just as bad as palpatine
@@painvillegaming4119 how?
I really really wished they'd have shown some of this in the game made in a horror movie sort of way like just grievous landing in the dark only his eyes glowing, then he ignites the sabers
I News to see grivious again
This really is one of those scenes where the real fans get separated from the normies. The normies will assume that Merrin was talking about Vader and the Empire coming down to eradicate her people, when in reality, it was Grievous and the Battle Droid Army that came down to eradicate the Nightsisters back in TCW.
fallen order writers reaally know their stuff. they seem to actually like star wars, and dont try to control it.
i really like the story of fallen order.
"normies" 🤓
It's a shame indeed. So many people that call themselves SW fans deny themselves the extended vibrant storytelling merely because it's animated. Oh well though lol, it's their loss of knowledge.
@@plague6174 the show wasn't even that good, anyways.
You read too much 4Chan, dude...
I remember playing this scene an when she mention the armored warrior i instantly thought of that episode of clone wars
BADASS GRIEVOUS.
Survivors..... We adapt
Vietnam flashbacks
Why?
The Nightsisters are only one of the clans on the planet so her race is not THAT extinct, Grievous still murdered basically everyone she knew though
0:49
Why do i hear Grievous say "FUCKING VENTRESS"
XDDDDDDDDDDDD
Lol same
No he said forget not what you think
Grevious wasn't a jedi or a sith he didn't even know the force. He's just someone who uses lightsabers that he took from the jedi he killed.
Yes, but to anybody else in the galaxy, they don't about sith only jedi that wield lightsaber.
I completely forgot about General Grevious's massacre of the nightsisters until i read about it online
Grievous is also the one that killed mother talzin
I Am Kinda Sad Merrin Doesn't Know He Was A Crazy Cyborg Who Helps Sith.
That absolutely breaks my heart for merrin......😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Bro fuck Grevious is such a lack luster villain in this version of the clone wars. If you want to see Grevious kick some real ass, watch the 2003 clone wars made my Genndy Tartakovski(the one that has a plot that directly connect ep II and ep III)
Considering Grievous has the record of most force users killed, he should have been mentioned a lot more in the game.
Yup that explains a lot
Because of him, Savage turned into a beast.
I see it what happened. Imagine that Cal and Merrin should meet in clone wars
Idk why but I always imagined order 66 when she said that
I hadn't seen the show in so long when i first saw this scene, so for some reason i thought cidious or vader killed them off during the rise of the empire.
I’m your 100th sub (:
:)
At least Obi-Wan did you a favour, Merrin.
Neat reference. Also dark side 4 lyfe.
Only if it's Nightsisters way, i like emotional selfcontrol
Bro we got the same Saber 👌🏻
There is another survivor besides Merrin
I kinda want a merrin spin series
Ooh I thought she was talking about an inquisitor cause of the armour thing
well, she forgot Ventress
She didn't knew Ventress
Ventress was a night sister as well.
She was killed by Dooku
@@borisstoyanov3488That didn't age well...
Who is the title of this music ?
separatist droids are so cute
Am I the only one who didn't assume it was Vader when I saw this scene, but the one Sith you fight on that planet or just a random Sith or Jedi gone rogue? I actually kinda find it weird myself that when she said, "an armored warrior brandishing this weapon...", my mind didn't automatically go to Vader
Malicos was a rogue jedi
@@acnologia1434 My point exactly
Wouldn’t he be dead by the time order 66 happened? He was killed by obi wan in revenge of the sith, witch took place before the purge
This episode is set somewhere during the clone wars, long before order 66 ever happened.
Grievous killed the nightsisters around 1 year or 2 before the clone wars ended
Did nothing wrong
