Hi Chris. Finally managed to watch this. I’ve seen the photographs of the end result obviously, but it was interesting to see it progress. The soil is a good effect wasn’t it? I used brown scatter for mine but your approach seemed much finer. Now the grass is on top, would you say the brown soil was worth it? Keep up the progress... your layout is starting to look fantastic in this corner.
I think the soil was well worth the extra effort, it gives a great bit of texture to the hillside, and it covers the plaster bandage in a couple of places where the scatter is a bit thin. I think I’m going to cover it all with static grass eventually, to give the grass a bit of height and when the priory is made it won’t look like it’s just sitting on the ground
