- Bigfoot attacks summer camp. Summer fun is on the run when an ancient totem pole is desecrated and a vengeful Sasquatch is unleashed on the hapless counselors of Camp Eaglewalk. I've been watching ALTER for a little while now and I must say I felt in love with this channel, the first short I've watched was the herd, and from that I realized this channel offers a wide range of horror subgenre and it amazes me, KEEP GOING GUYS!!!

With the 80’s being my teenage years, I can honestly say I REALLY REALLY enjoyed this one 😂

What stood out to me, in this short, was just how much great music and sound design can help a director compensate for a mediocre story and ok acting.

yup, I was thinking that she will be kept somewhere until the hero found and save her, but NOPE. Remember kids, it's ALTER, they don't do stereotypes ;).

o hero to the rescue for her. This was such a shocking kill scene. The method was so brutal. The Bigfoot killed her like cleaning a rug. I agree with Karen Etc. ALTER don't do stereotypes or too many tropes.

After enough encounters with our species in one bad day after enough, we can't look at the creature behavior as anything other than what it thought was right. The final girl wasn't the trope of a slut or nerd, but just a real down-to-earth female who has compassion for the guy. THat's why her death was so shocking and kept us watching to the final credits.

It seemed like the Bigfoot was hell bent in chasing him and capturing him as a child and as an adult but… each time the BF caught the dude (as a kid and as a man) it seemed like he didn’t want to attack or hurt him.

Cryptozoology is so much fun. Surely there’s something out there we haven’t discovered. I think people forget that there’s still massive parts of earth that are uninhabited and yet to be explored.
At the same time EVERYONE has a camera now! So odds that nothing has been recorded by SOMEONE also points to not much else out there.
GEEKFUL: the geek out channel Go to Alaska or other places like it and you’ll realize just how rural most of the world is. People aren’t walking through unknown forests in Alaska taking random pictures. We discover new species all the time. All I’m saying is that it’s good to have a sense of wonder. Do I believe in Bigfoot or the Lochness monster, no. But I think it’s good to still feel wonder and think about what could be out there.

BECAUSE it’s becoming rare that people don’t at least have a phone with a camera, the chances of undiscovered mega fauna still existing is going down exponentially! Don’t you think? In other words. Where before it was much more plausible that undiscovered mega fauna were roaming the earth because it was rare that people carried cameras with them. So we assumed that “well, they just didn’t have access to a camera to take a picture for proof!” NOW almost anyone can quickly pull out their phone and take a video or picture therefore lowering the chances that this is all real at all!
GEEKFUL: the geek out channel You’re right, but you’re forgetting some things. Many places are impenetrable to humans. Dense jungles are a great example. Some forests are so dense, it’s almost impossible for us to explore. All 8 billion of us mostly live in cities and as I said, there’s still so much out there yet to be discovered by man. Just look out the window when you’re on a plane. Miles of nothing.

I was kind of expecting...about. a half dozen or more OTHER Sasquatch to step out from the tree-line..
There was a Sci-Fi movie called Abominable back in the mid 2000s that had that as the ending.

Theory:
The reason this Sasquatch/Bigfoot was so vicious was of two reasons.
1. Wherever this cabin is located is in its home territory. People going to this cabin are invading its home and it’s just protecting its area.
2. It has rabies, it would explain why it was so vicious and not eating them at all. it has rabies but then again I have no other guesses.

Good short guys I loved everything about it and I also like the message of it that if we stand up to our fears we can conquer them.
Seen this one before. It's not bad, albeit very tame on the kills, given that it is essentially a slasher. Solid acting.
19:12 This reminded me right away of a similar scene in the Bigfoot slasher "Night of the Demon" from 1980. And the scenes zooming in on the Bigfoot's feet reminded of the backwoods slasher "Madman". Maybe these movies were inspirations as well besides "Friday the 13th". By the way, AWESOME short film!

It's a slasher with Bigfoot. I'm confused on where "comedy" comes in? The title honestly took me out of it because i kept waiting for something comedic to happen.
Now i feel like I'm hating on it but it's the misleading title that messed it up. Without the misconception it's a good little slasher flick.

@@ElizabethP1981 Sorry, i don't see how it being Big Foot makes it funny... The ending wasn't funny either. The Big Foot was obviously territorial and it showing fear to being attacked isn't funny either. A bear would show fear if you stabbed it and it was dying too, doesn't make it funny.

I just recently stumbled across these horror shorts and I'm really loving them! This has a real early 80s classic horror feel. The actors are amazing the plot is simple but well written and the music and overall feel of the film keeps me on edge anticipating what happens next. It's fantastic and I can't wait to watch more of them! You're brilliant and so talented!!!!!
