People who live with honesty are often swimming upstream. It takes
courage to live upright, truthful, and open lives. Courage, feeling the fear
but doing the right thing anyway, no matter the cost or difficulty. It is our
Great Shepherd who guides us into living upright, truthful, and open lives.
Such living brings the freedom of truth, God’s approval, respect and trust in
relationships, a clear conscience, and peace.
LORD, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?
The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth
from their heart.
