      Rickles didn't call Snoop the black Frank Sinatra. He said Snoop had referred to himself as the Frank Sinatra of the black world. Also I heard Frank Sinatra didn't like singing My Way because he thought it was arrogant saying he had no regrets.

    • @lindashelley3635
      @lindashelley3635 Před 5 lety +2

      what the That explanation of why Frank didn’t like My Way doesn’t make sense. If he felt that way about the song then why would he have recorded it in the first place? I read somewhere that he intended it to be his ‘swan song’ when he retired, a sort of summary of how he had lived his life. But then when he made his comeback, people had come to regard it as his anthem and wanted him to sing it at every show. In the end he got really sick of performing it but had become so associated with it that he couldn’t get away with leaving it out of his repertoire. To me, that seems to be a more rational explanation of his feelings about the song.

      Don made racist jokes for the same reason he made all his other jokes, they were funny. If you watch the Merv Griffin interview with Rickles and Mr. T, Merv didn't really get the Rickles sense of humor and was actually disrespecting Mr. T, and after some gentler hints Don finally had to point out to Merv that he was friends with Mr. T and "_you're_ the outsider."

    Snoop, you're the only rapper that climbed out the box and diversified your brand name. You have grown to be a affluent person because of it. Thank you for breaking the restrictive chain of stereotype. Although you held down your spot, you've evolved much bigger than just being a rapper.

      For real. Snoop has always been quick but this is really impressive. My estimation of him has really been raised. If you can make Don smile you doin something right- if you can make him smirk… youre really winning. I know there’s editing but you can see snoops huge adoration for don. Huge respect. It’s really wonderful.

    Snoop Dogg was interviewed by Tom Snyder who had a late night talk show I believe it was after Johnny Carson show probably 30+ years ago. That’s when I fell in love with Snoop Dogg. He was funny, witty, smart, and I remember him talking about his children saying kind words.I have great respect for him… Even if it does smoke quite a bit of marijuana, he’s cool.❤❤❤
