The most funny moment in this movie for me was when he siad "what ever id just did to your ears is not even torture, i just made it up." haha i lost my shit. never seen anything like that. Great writing and delivery.

After the hospital fight scene, Ryan Gosling tends to his injured waist bcoz it got stabbed, but forgets about his injured left hand which got stabbed too. Just like Stranger Things writers forgot about Hooper's broken ankle.

Very VERY few actors like Chris Evans can play a noble and beloved hero like Steve Rogers’ Captain America and also an absolute shitbag in movies like this and Knives Out. I absolutely hated Lloyd but I couldn’t get enough of him because Evans is so damn awesome!

The "two years earlier" part felt like an afterthought; like "OH SHIT WE DIDN'T GIVE THEM A BACKSTORY! QUICK! REWIND IT REWIND IT!" Also, can we just appreciate that Dhanush was the only to get the job done😂 Alpha Team, Bravo Team, Delta Team, everyone failed with their objectives. And if it wasn't for his moral code, Chris Evans' side would have won.
I think thats the plot convenience...all those teams made him weak and lone wolf got lucky to bite in that moment...just a practical theory

The russo brothers trademarks are the big text fonts and themself being in the movie. Also, they really enjoyed the drone shots 😂. btw a sequel and spin-off already is in the works.
Yeh Bay started using them a couple yrs ago &they hopped on the bandwagon without actually figuring out how to implement them properly 😂

People talking about poor storylines need to understand that it's a 12-part series & for the beginning part this was pretty good.

It's not a matter of things being left open for sequels. The movie still needs to work in its own right.
A movie needs to stand on its own feet, regardless of how many sequels there are. Second, this movie is not getting 11 sequels. The first Harry Potter movie was good on its own merits, regardless of the fact that it's book one of seven.
Me personally, I don't think they used the drone too much at all. I never got sick of it. I think those who fo think to much about it and jump to "oh boy, here they go trying to be cool". When in reality, it's just another camera being used to film a movie. And it just happens to have a unique look to it.

I liked the way they shot the movie, and the action, but felt they could have explained the importance of certain characters more and felt that Dhanush could have been given just a bit more screentime.
Why lol coz you know him? What about team alpha, bravo and Sigma? What about Sierra 4? I thought they respected Dhanush’s screen time and that he had just the right amount of screen time.

Also, if you see, the fight scene was the only prominent scene he had in the whole film, which they already showed during the promos...apart from that, there wasnt much for him to do, he took the drive from them and ultimately, also returned it back lol
I've watched this movie by myself and I've watched it two other reaction videos including this one. Chris Evans was an absolute joy to watch. He was a sociopath but quite entertaining. That Carmichael guy with the glasses, your reaction was the right one. His character was a very unlikable dick. He played that well. I'm not a huge fan of Ryan gosling dry acting but I enjoyed his and Chris Evan's interaction with each other. This movie was a mish-mash of John wick and Jason Bourne I guess. I loved the action. Heavy handed with those drone shots tho🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
To people who did not understand why Dhanush called them not honourable people is because, in the religion, kids are considered as gods because they do not know the darker aspects of life like caste, religion, inequality, etc. Hence they only talk the truth without knowing about them. I hope that clarifies things.

The house fight I'm guessing you missed all the hand fighting because of the lighting, but there's only a single time where the guy waits to get hit and it's immediately after he's already been hit in the face and has no free hand to defend himself.
The movie is nuts 🔥🔥 one of the coolest fight sequences and Chris played as bad guy never thought Captain America will be so unethical like that 😅 get this man a shield 🛡️ 😂 Ryan Gosling also played his character very well. Movie is technically well made with cool drone shots. Giving it Sam Raimi vibes
This movie is all about action and all the fight scenes were great especially danush fight scene was cool but poor story or poor writing ruined its awesomeness to average!

Dhanush's character was poorly written.
It seems like the Russo Brothers wanted to do more with his character in future film but did not no how to handle him in this film. After the destruction in Berlin which was all over the news, it's most likely he would've known and killing cops which he does himself later. but wanting to kill a kid is what makes him believe they're dishonorable people, which I thought was weird.

Dhanush is a contract killer in this movie. He's no saint either and knows exactly what this business is. His character is just like the movie's title 'the Gray man'. He isn't exactly good or bad but has a higher morality and certain rules he doesn't seem to break. Like killing children. I doubt he would give a fuck killing about armed cops though
They changed so much from the novels. "The Gray Man" is a nickname he acquired while running from the CIA and working as a hired assassin. Fitzroy was his employer, former British intelligence and not the one who got him out of jail. He rescued his granddaughter not his niece. Suzanne Brewer was not a contemporary of Carmichael. She was much more junior. "Sierra" was not the name of the program. Gentry was part of CIA Special Activities Division (Ground Branch). Sierra 1 thru 6 were the six members of Gentry's CIA team sometimes called the Goon Squad.
They just took the best scenes from the first three novels and strung a story together. It isn't even a good remix.
Even after reading the books, I got to say I still really like this movie. To each his own, I guess.

Fuckin' loved Chris Evans in this movie. He's surprisingly good at playing villains (scott pilgrim, knives out, etc).
He started off playing assholes in his career before switching to heroes. Even Johnny Storm in his Fantastic Four movies was a bit of a douche.
Funny that Achara mentions the boys during The Gray Mans backstory monologue as the kid playing young Gray man is the same actor who plays Ryan, homelander's kid on the boys

I had an ingrown toenail problem, and needed to have part of the toenail permanently removed. They had to burn out a segment of the root on the side, so now the nail does not grow in that area.

Hi! Recent Subscriber :) My husband I watched this together and both enjoyed it. Not a lot of movies we both like as we've got such different tastes. First thing my husband said when he saw Chris Evan's character is that he looked like a Freddy Mercury knock-off. I had to agree. He loved the humor from Nick? (Chris' character). So different from the Capt America character which was likely the point. He's like a complete 180 from Steve. His fave part of the move was the last fight scene and the "that stings!" comment as he was prancing around in the fountain. Seriously, he must have rewatched that bit like 10 times and laughed his ass off. I didn't realize this was a series of books. i'd like to see where Gosling's character and the girl go from here.
I don't know if I am the only one to notice that Ryan Gosling sometimes looked a lot like Emran Hashmi in this movie.

_Black Widow_ wasn't a good spy movie but... Florence Pugh had a better performance in that movie than anyone in this movie.
Ana de Armas deserves her own film series after her No time to die and this performance.
Jessica henwick was wasted in this film. She's generally a really good actress especially in the show iron fist. Hopefully she's given more to do in the sequel.

My thumb nail got detached from the nail bed when a cricket ball hit it really hard,then i cut the nail as much as i could (it was really scary ) and then the remaining part of the nail completely came out in a few days by itself and then i grew my nail back completely in 3 months.Interesting stuff.

Chris character was only good thing in movie
It wasn't perfect but action movies rarely need to be. I thought it kept a pretty decent pace and my biggest gripe is Evans really didn't get enough time to shine. He did great in the time he was given but still felt like I wanted more from him and now he's dead so that's not happening. I came in cautiously optimistic and left really enjoying it. Solid outing by the Russos outside of the Avenger stuff and it was nice to let Evans not be Captain America...hopefully now he can branch out and be whatever he wants but I would love to see him play another bad guy someday.
For 200 million dollars it definitely needed to be more than mediocre.. &it it weren't for a couple standout performances this would be SUCH a drag

Imma be honest, this film felt very low-budget mixed with high-budget cgi. I enjoyed it bc it was entertaining, the actors were good as expected but the story felt rushed and as a whole it was a 3 star movie

The movie was mid to be honest. Blurry, million cuts action scenes, dragged out set pieces. Really messy, expected more from the Russo brothers.

You know why we're seeing so many male characters showing or telling their stories of growing up with abusive fathers? Because there's a whole load of psychologically damaged men in their 30s and 40s, looking to tell the world how they were physically and psychologically abused as kids. My parents and their generation are guilty of some horrible things and it needs to be addressed so that we can heal and they can suffer some well-deserved humiliation.
The 1st 30 min I turned the movie off, because it was that boring 😴. It was that for your review that I finished it, so I could watch your review after the movie. I agree with all your comments. Nobody mentioned how buffed Chris Evans and Ryan Gosseling was. Maybe for an upcoming Marvel movie Maybe?
