A Pokemon Sword Hardcore Nuzlocke Monotype Challenge with ONLY ICE TYPE POKEMON - Can it be done? (No items, No overleveling)

RULES:
1) If a Pokemon faints, it's considered dead and can no longer be used.
2) Only the first encounter can be caught on each route. For the wild area I will catch one initial encounter then allow one additional catch from any part of the wild area after each gym badge.
3) Species Clause; I can reroll an encounter if the first encounter is something already caught.
4) No items in battle (held items are fine).
5) No overleveling the next gym leader's highest Pokemon (leveling up during the fight is allowed).
6) Battle style must always be on 'Set'.

I agree its a very fun game to nuzlocke in my opinion. So much flexibility with the wild area and the move relearner being free

I mean you could have technically got both Glalie and Froslass: you catch a female Snorunt, say, in the Wild Area and then evolve it right away in Froslass with a Dawn Stone and later get a fully evolved Glalie in Route 9/10
He was playing with the Species/Dupes clause, wich means he can't catch two Pokemon of the same evolution line.
@@beplay173 there are some people that consider that as not invalidating that clause because you are never repeating mons technically (you don't catch another Snorunt but rather its evolved form, since the game gives you that option). And I consider that as well. It's ridiculous for me in this case bc Glalie and Froslass are completely different mons and you should be able to make use of them. Maybe is not that necessary here in SwSh where you get a lot of encounters but it sure is in games like DPP where Ice types are even more limited
Even if they are a bit... ridiculous, I still love the Galarian Fossils. They're very fun and *very* creative in my opinion. Even if they're shinys suck, I really like them

Grookey is my favorite galar starter he is definitely the best I mean he’s a badass gorilla AND a drummer
He's the only one that doesn't become weirdly human ish when he evolves and for that I think he's the best

Ok. Here's a nuzlocke idea. How about Pokemon Sword with Sword/Blade Pokemon.
The way it's defined is either..
1. It has a sword/blade as part of its body; or
2. It uses a sword/blade
If you have anything else to add to the definition, go ahead 🙂
Also if you like the pain you could also make a rule to ban dynamaxing too.
Late but my favorite ice type is a three way tie between A-Ninetales A-Sandslash and Weavile granted Weavile and Ninetales are much more close to the top than Sandslash but my blue Locke made me appreciate it more

Not realy, it's just very convenient to nuzlock, there is a big variety of Pokémon, a lot of liberty with move sets because of farmable TRs and free move relearner at pokecenter, and zero need for grinding

I think I made a nuzlocke that is extremely hard. I'm on my third try to confirm.
My extra rules for a Sword Nuzlocke goes as follow.
1. Can only take the same number of pokemon the gym leader and tournament have.
2. Can't take super effective pokemon. Like the grass gym I can not take a fire, flying, ice, poison. But the pokemon I do take can use super effective moves.
3. Only can use one heal item.
4. All other Nuzlocke rules apply
