What if leaves are eaten by insects ......
Isolate the plant and physically inspect for insect feeding on leaves.. and spray neem oil as a precaution that will make leaves unpalatable for the insect/s.
@@GardenUp Well a butterfly named common mormon and lime swallowtail lay there eggs on it, so if ur putting pesticide u are killing that butterfly and making plant poisnous to honey bees. So my Advice would be weird but yeh 😉 don't mind caterpillar on plant, it will either become a butterfly or moth but in some way help u.

My curry leaves plant is growing good in my pot but when I water ants come up. What should I do. Please suggest.
@@deepakenkare6735 ants do not affect the plant directly to curry plant, the mealy bugs are cause and they are reared by ants for sugar, amazing right, this sugary substance is produced by mealy bug when the suck Sap of plant. We can easily remove them by spraying baking soda with water.

as an experiment, I started growing Curry Leave plant in my bedroom, under LED and beside a small window. It has been doing good for more than 2 months now, new leaves are coming out after every second week. The plant is overall healthy and smiling except the small size of the leaves... hope this survives in a long run...

Thanks for the Informative video , some questions: What if the flowers have already become berries ? Do I need to pluck them out too to promote growth of foliage? Also can I germinate the berry seed and create another plant ?
Hi...Thank you so much for this video. It's very informative. Any tips on growing this in the UAE?
I was waiting for this for a long time...thank u🙂
This video is wonderful thank you. But, I was hoping to see how to prune back the tree so that it does not grow too tall. I have a very sunny porch, but I would rather keep it under 6 feet. Hoping you could do a video on how to prune it properly for limited growth.
Really enjoy your channel!
Hi. Ur videos are so helpful. Very inspiring as well. Wanted to know the name of the rooting hormone to use? Thank you

Nice sharing di ❤️
Wow very useful ❤️👍
Thank you very much ! This is useful… I’ld like to ask if there is a way to make it bushy rather than long and leafy at the top?
Prune it to make it bushier, which will give more leaves in future(Do no prune during winter because it goes into dormancy during winter). You can also watch its plant care video on my channel. czcams.com/video/vTqF7f8TGRU/video.html
Thank you .
Thanks for the solution for curry leaf infestation
Very Nice
I saw you used rooting harmone for the cutting. Do you suggest using rooting harmone for any cuttings that we are planting?
You are always best di .
Hi Ekta @GardenUp, your videos are amazing :). Can you please suggest from where can I buy curry leaf seeds for planting. Thanks.
Fantastic 👏👏👏
Very nice 🌱
I love your videos, inspired by you i also have planted few plants. This summer season I want to grow tomato, but sunlight comes very less in my area. So can you suggest what should I do?
Great video... though would have appreciated more info on fertilizing... what kind to use etc. And how to encourage it to become bushy rather than thin and tall.
Watch its plant care video on my channel for fertilization. Prune it to make it bushier, which will give more leaves in future(Do no prune during winter because it goes into dormancy during winter). czcams.com/video/vTqF7f8TGRU/video.html
What kind of potting mix/soil is best for propagating the cuttings? I have a tree that is over 8 feet tall now that has been growing in a pot indoors. I’ve been repotting it again and again over the years. But it’s past the point of a repotting job now. I live in northern Wisconsin, so planting it outdoors is definitely not a possibility.
This is really helpful in trying to grow my curry leaf but it’s really small and not increasing so much. Can u tell me wch rooting hormone to use
My curry plant has turned into a small happy tree with lots of baby plants propagated via seeds.
Again nice video Dr.
In my garden, There is curry leaf plant and people who live outside to the village take out and mostly it's export to all over cities of Gujarat. 😀
Superb Video Ektha Ji..............Which is a best fertilizer for Curry Leaves plant all time?.
What are the home made fertilizer for getting more branch on curry leaves plants after pruning
Hello thank you for such a wonderful video 🙏🏼 kindly help me out with my curry leaf plant plant. 1st it keeps shredding leaves. 2nd how to make it bushy. 3rd i have potted small chilli plant next to it, is that alright? 4th can i prune it during winters? Or should I wait for next season?
Thnks for info
I love ❤your videos
Nice video Ekta. My curry leaf plant is such a slow grower. I think it is a side effect of growing it in pots rather than in the straight ground. Any tips to make it grow faster apart from regular fertilizer, light and water? (which I already do).
Yes! they grow slow in pot. Not much thing work except regular fertilization. It is in its nature to grow at that pace. I will suggest you to plant 2-3 plants, single plant doesn't full fill the requirement. You can prune to make it bushier, which will give more leaves in future(Do no prune during winter because it goes into dormancy during winter). You can also watch its plant care video on my channel.
How long does it take from the time of keeping the cutting for us to get usable curry leaves?
Thanks for this video. My curry plant has got browning of leaves at the end of leaves in almost each branch. It is in a claypot and on a very well lit and very airy area on my terrace. Kindly suggest any remedy.
my curry sprouted well, some branches and leaves and then stopped. been 2+ weeks and its green, what do you suggest?
Inspired
Hi ekta, good learning, please also make a video about Tulsi, because I grow it dies.
Didi where did you buy ur watering can ,it is so cute .if u bought it online please share the link
When I take leaves off the plant does the stem regrow leaves or do I cut off the empty stalk? Thank you from Adelaide South Australia.
Hi Mam,
I love ur videos. I do have curry leaves but it doesnt grow or die. It is still alive but not growth. I ande vermicompost and vegetable soaked water but no use. What shall I do?
Good tips.
Also diluted soap solution works to prevent/ cure all the issues. I prefer that over Neem oil as it can be easily washed off before consumption.
The other thing I have also done so the plant doesn't get leggy , I hard prune it 12- 16 inches from soil. This helps for the trunk to get thicker as months go by. You should try that with your mother plant.
That's a good suggestion.
That's one of my concerns. Can I do it during winter season?
@@NoOne-kv2uj Nothing in hard winter if your plant is indoors. Only when temperatures go over 55 degrees F and you are going to put the plant outside, you can hard prune. I am in North America where winters are extreme.
Diluted soap solution you can use anytime
Heyyy... could you please do a video on how to care and grow mican
