This audio was a beautiful mix of so many emotions, and I wanted to hug Mess so hard during this audio. She sounded so upset when she thought the listener preferred being alone than being with her.
Could we please hear more audios like this? It was nice to hear the speaker and the listener communicating with each other and working through their issues.
You did an absolutely amazing job of conveying how upset Mess was at the listener avoiding her and not cuddling her, how surprised she was when the listener explained that they were used to her initiating affection, hoe emotional she was when she apologized for being so upset with them, and how much she loves the listener, Mindful!
The listener and Mess’s dynamic was absolutely beautiful to listen to with how they talked about how they weren’t sure about how to ask her for affection when they were used to initiating it. Hopefully she and the listener will be open about their wants and needs going forward. Communication is always important

Well if you want the real answer, I didn’t really grow up in a “loving” family. Not saying we didn’t love each other, we absolutely did, my parents were just never the type to show affection like that because their parents didn’t show them affection like that either. So we didn’t really grow up saying “I love you to each other,” but it didn’t matter because we all knew we loved each other, even if we didn’t say it often. I mean, I’ve said “I love you” to my siblings many times recently and they shut down because they don’t know how to respond, kinda like the way I get when you tell me “I love you” and want to cuddle me and be all loving. So that’s why I don’t cuddle first or start acting all loving first, I’m just not built that way, unfortunately. But just know, honey, I do get butterflies when you get all clingy with me :) 💚

Not in a sad way! Just want to clarify that. But I kind of want to just leave it as is because it’s, beautiful. :D
I mean, if I ever were to be so fortunate as to be a part of something like this, I’d definitely be like the listener here. I’d be overthinking how or when to approach, and if the hypothetical partner was upset like Mess I would definitely be hesitant and not realize that I was expected to. So I’m glad to see that there’s a way of talking it out. (Although in a fictional scenario :3)

That wasn’t my intention. The purpose of the audio was to show how people have different ways of thinking, and the speaker (my character) can’t just assume others will automatically know the way she thinks while also understanding that she doesn’t know how others think. Some people think it’s normal to be super affectionate, others think it’s normal to have space
