In the early 1970s and 1980s in Poland, this song was used in the morning program "Nurt" for teachers.
I saw him once when he was getting pretty old. He was led to the piano, as usual to his lack of sight, but he wasn't having an easy time walking and seemed pretty frail. But once he started playing and singing, it's like he lit up and was a like a young man again.
