Jane Foster’s heroism is by far the most inspiring thing ever done in Thor comics. One of the most epic storylines in Marvel’s recent history. She is the best Thor...IMO.
Jane Foster as Thor was great! She very much proved she was worthy. Plus she got me reading Thor for the first time in a long while. Thanks for the great reviews and congrats on getting to them early!
Juan Sanchez Simonson’s run is legendary and the best Thor stories until now. Jason Aaron has become my favorite writer on this book. He developed an Odinson with humanizing flaws that added so many more layers and he did more for Jane Fosters character than anyone has ever done. It just might be a case of the right writer at the right time, but the evolution of these characters makes Aaron’s run my favorite now...by an inch. Simonson’s is still a great run.

Mark Curtis Read the comic series as it is brilliant writing. Try opening your world up just a little bit to new ideas. It may be scary at first but you may find it makes it more beautiful.

Good review but you could not be more wrong about Jane Foster as Thor. Those comics were brilliant.
The comics themselves told good stories, but her taking up the mantle of Thor was still a bad idea IMO.

BertRamDam Have you read Simonson’s run on Thor? Because I honestly don’t see how you can say that after reading Simonson’s Thor run.
