Great video! I bought one today!
Thanks for the informative video!
Before the test, where the bike was on a pole, the chain was on the left side ;-)
Please excuse my English - greetings from Carinthia, Austria!
You are welcome Otto. Glad you enjoyed the video. Good catch! Reason for that is this shot was inverted digitally. The original footage has the bike pointed the other direction. Cheers to Carinthia Austria!
Hi
yes I pleased you not got an issue
But here the thing
I cover 8000 miles a year on poor roads so done around 5000 miles on the BMB in not great weather so the bike is put through it paces
I have look at the bracket is not up to the task
Plus TQ have modified the bracket so there is an issue here
I have been told I may not be the first with this issue
Besides this BMC customer service is shocking
Imagine if you had issues with you frame and BMC refused to replace it with a yellow frame
While the bike is still in production with yellow frame
I don’t think you would be happy
Hope you don’t get this issue
Listen out for rattling when you are riding
Bike is going to be sold once Frame replaced
Bought a pinerello e5 with TQ motor
Hi Classic Cycling,
I find your tests of the different modes very interesting. I would like to know 1) if the measurement of your Average Power was done externally to the TQ system, and 2) what was the total WH consumption of the battery for each Mode tested.
Greetings
Hello Antonio. The rider’s power measurement comes from the TQ system. I don’t know the WH consumption for each of the mode during the test. Cheers.
Hi my friend what's the range at High mode have you tested at High mode for maximum range
Hello Trek Madone. I have not done a complete range test in High Mode but my take from my experience is that you will not get more than 20 to 25 miles at High Mode.
What range do you get on eco?
Hello gardenadog. I get between 60 and 70 miles on the eco mode, depending on the terrain.
how far can you go on eco mode
Hello there. Watch the Video. Cheers.
It’s unfortunate that they don’t have them in the land downunder 😢
Hello Dens. I am really surprised about that particularly considering Cadel Evans is their most famous rider ever. The only time BMC has ever won a Tour de France!
99 Bikes are the Australian distributors. I’ve ordered a Roadmachine Three AMP through my local store.
I thought u were going to talk about the BMC and not E=MC2😅
Hello Ronald. I think the video you want to watch is this one. ‘2023 BMC RoadMachine AMP after 3 months. What do I Think?”
czcams.com/video/r1T-XxDOX8I/video.html. Cheers my friend.
These bikes are restricted to 24 km an hour
Not in the USA they are not! This is a a Class 3 e-bike and as such it is limited to 28 mph in the good old US of A. You can check that here my friend: quietkat.com/pages/united-states-electric-bike-regulations-guide#:~:text=The%20federal%20speed%20limit%20for,also%20specifies%20this%20speed%20limit.

don' t buy this bike, BMC waste of space, my battery came loose due to battery bracket been made of thin plastic, just poor design and engineering, after 2k miles, and smashed to bits 8 weeks later after TQ and BMC delays i got the bike back, only for the battery to come loose again after 2 weeks, this time punching a hole through the carbon frame, TQ sent a modified bracket after 3 weeks obviously realise what a poor job they did in the first place, but BMC did not have a yellow frame in the UK, nor did Switzerland, so offered a alternative green and red frame, which I refused BMC saying did not have a yellow frame, although still making it in production, so dealer complained on my behave, BMC refused to replace the yellow frame, now been 4 weeks still no bike, so in summary battery came loose twice due to poor design, BMC will not supply a yellow replacement frame, although model still in production and 16 week not riding, stay away from this model, i will never buy BMC again, no customer service obviously not interested in customer retention, or satisfaction
Hello DaveMolino. Sorry to hear about all your troubles with your BMC Roadmachine AMP. I don’t doubt you for a second but in all fairness, I can’t say I have had any issues with mine so far. Hope everything works out with BMC.
