Little MJ has one of the best voices in the business. It was remarkable actually. He remade a Smokey Robinson song called Who’s Loving You, and even Smokey said he sang it with more heart than any adult ever could.

Even in today’s date, there are so many wannabe singers in various tv shows like America’s Got Talent (AGT), the Voice, Britain’s Got Talents, and a few more. Many of those wannabe singers đŸŽ€ who sang that song đŸŽ¶ ,”Who’s Loving You?”. To my surprise, those wannabe singers has won the best song but the truth is none of those wannabe singers are better than little Michael Jackson. Michael has always been 1 of a kind. Totally a God given talented & gifted.

When people say Beyonce is a better vocalist than MJ, Prince is a better vocalist, or some people even say Bruno Mars is a better vocalist but those people totally forgot that MJ is a child prodigy. He was singing professionally since 11, his vocals evolved throughout the years and years. Just think this same little guy was singing songs like ABC, ben, the same vocal did disco songs like don't stop till you get enough, pop hits like a thriller, heavy rock like dirty Diana and give into to me, r&b tracks like this time around, he is the rare artist who had that vocal flexibility. And his track called "2000 watts" is such a shock, even most moonwalkers had difficulty accepting it was really MJ singing that song.

Correction: “Little Michael” started singing at the age of 8 years old. Kinda too young to be a great singer. Michael fulfilled his childhood goal. He once told his classmates in Gary, Indiana that he wanted to be “the greatest singer đŸŽ€ đŸŽ¶ đŸŽ” ever!”
I’m very glad 😀 to be a part of his generation while he was growing up. I watched him along with the Jackson 5ive all my life till his death. Rumor has it that Michael’s daughter, Paris Jackson is a great singer just like her father. I’m waiting to see that day.

THANK YOU, you finally got to Little Michael, I been really pushing for you to do younger Michael & Jackson work. And he was about ....13 at this time. I don't know if other MJ fans have mentioned in the comments yet, but a lot of shyness came from his vocal change in adolescence/teenage years (it's actually quite incredible to hear it documented on the albums & interviews of his kid/teenage years), also in his physical appearance and the acne he got in his teenage years, but something that doesn't get talked about as much was how his vocal change really scared him and really started him in being shyer, the outer changes happened next. But this song is from 1972 when he was 13-14, in 1973 he released like 2 albums with his brothers and 1 solo album, and in the span of those 3 albums, you're getting like 2 types of Michael voices. Also this is from his 2nd solo album ever "Ben".

He was confronted at such a young age with the spotlights, working so hard with his band that he didn't have enough time to play like an normal kid (yeah idk if you know but he and his brothers was forced by their father to work hard every time... ). Michael was actually 14 here in September 1972. His face does look young but what I think gives away his age is the height. He recorded Ben in November 1971 when he was 13, before his voice changed. The following year his voice started changing so they made him lip sync this performance to avoid live voice cracks and to probably keep him looking like a child since the industry liked to keep that innocent little kid image.

2 seconds in. I'm thinking, "good luck trying not to cry...." It's his pure love in his soul that does that. He was human But when he escaped in music he went there.

haha, Great. Jack you still seem always surprised with Michael. I once commented with him you ought to start from the beginning, it's not just Any other artist, but when u say I was not expecting this.. MJ is Mj for a reason. He was capable of emoting and singing adult themes from a young age in a way unseen before, Also young Mj's interviews are nice. Try WHO'S LOVING YOU and you'll see what i mean. Peace! thanks!

In the Early Seventies, there was a movie called Ben. It was about a little boy who befriended a mouse/rat. He called him Ben, he became his best friend. Ben died at the end of the movie. Michael Jackson wrote this song for that movie. What a Tearjerker! I Love your channel xoxo

It's the way that he sings it. This song came out when I was a little girl. I didn't know it was about a rat and the soundtrack to a movie. I thought they were being mean to a little boy like me. It made me sad and want to be Ben's friend. Michael makes you sympathetic to a killer rat. Amazing.

Thank you for sharing . You understanding of music is spot on . As for MJ ...you know when people clap in an audience and then stand up if amazing..well I watched him singing last notes and my body went to stand up to applaud at the end..I’ve never done that while sitting watching CZcams. So masterful even so young and so long ago , to do that to someone in 2020 .💛

At the time Michael was already the King of pop so I had no idea it was him singing. Anyway, that song brings that childhood melancholy...

It pains me to watch the video but glad you reacted to it. Michael had multiple 'chapters' in his long career and many forget his earlier time as part of the Jackson 5. Life can be cruel and one would have hoped Michael's final years as an artist would have been much different. Michael sits at the top of the mountain of musical artists. 🙏

Yea Young Michael was nothing to play with: he sung with the conviction of a 40 year old grown man. Definitely the best kid voice/ singer of all time in my opinion he set the standard for everyone male and female that came behind him.
