Looks like the test car is a GR86 Premium which came from the factory with an amplifier in the trunk, does this amp supersede that amp or does it work together with the factory amp?
It works together with the factory amp

RCA jacks are for audio input only
Does this work only with factory speakers? What if we have oem+ speakers already installed on the gr86?
It works great with oem+ speakers. We tested it and it sounds fabulous
When using this with the gr86 premium and oem subwoofer, do you plug this into the sub harness or into the head unit unit? Car>Sub>Amp>Head or Car>Amp>Sub>Head. This is since the oem sub harness uses the left plug on the head unit too. Thank you in advance. Edit: I guess you could also plug the sub harness into the amp harness or vice versa

There’s a separate dial on the amp that controls the gain, we turned it down a little bit

We need to check. But if it does work, this will work together with the factory amp

seems like it still sounds tinny and mid range, def not a replacement for a good speaker upgrade, just save your money and wait!
Our customers say otherwise. Our amp makes a bigger difference than changing the speakers
It seems weird that Subaru/Toyota would put out such an underpowered head unit with such nice speakers but they did 🤷♂️
