The best way to build muscle faster is to flex in the mirror while repeating the oh so affirming "They don't even know".
Is this like an inside joke lol can someone explain
@@mimikelly9374 lmao yes, they mentioned it on one of the podcasts, it's a funny ass story you need to hear them tell it hahaha
@@John_Nada_ lmao do u remember which one ??
@@mimikelly9374 no sorry it was in the last few months I'd say though
Is there a video of they don’t even know? I can’t find it lol
The best way to build more muscle is to listen to Mind Pump. Literally stronger just from that!
18....the amount of months I been listening and watching......28.... the amount of kg I have lost since taking all the advice from u guys.....0.....the amount of f$@:”s given when ppl try n tell me I’d be better with cardio! Never felt so good in my life! Thank u team
I’m a certified PT and the knowledge I got from listening to y’all is worth wayyy more than the cert I have. Keep it up!
Of course it is 😂 all those certs are fronts
@@arizonacolour8793 I agree.. I felt like I learned more from CZcams and Google University than I did with my cert
This is correct. Same.
💯
Great info listen daily . Took 3 plus years but got down to 190 from 240 . Kept muscle lost lot of fat -was a 38waist now 32 and maintaining it now at 58 yo
This channel is pure gold, only podcast i am listening to... A lot of misinformation floating around fitness industry, this channel is a savior.
Thank you for existing.
CZcams algorithm do your thing for these men educating fitness the right way 🙌
Personal Anecdote: I decided to make sleep a priority a few years back. I'm lucky to have a job where I don't have a hard start time. So I would go back to bed if I didn't get proper sleep or was really tired still and I would just work later into the day. Over time I found myself more productive and finding less excuses to skip the gym. Plus I was overall happier.
I’ve been watching/listening to this podcast for well over a year. When I say you all have opened my eyes it’s an understatement! I’ve been mentioning you all to anyone who will listen. Thank you for being so genuine & putting out such valuable information! You’re changing lives
Another great episode. After listening to this podcast for a few years now, I don't feel like the information in this episode was anything that they have never covered before yet these guys do such a good job at what they do it still draws me in every time. I like these shorter episodes that cover some of the information that might already have been talked about over multiple episodes before as kind of a quick refresher course and a reminder to focus on certain aspects of my own fitness (muscle building in this case) that I often start to slowly stray away from. Awesome job, once again.
Just discovered you guys recently and you’re awesome. Let’s own the algorithm and hopefully more people can learn 💪🏽
Much appreciated!
i keep losing weight with my previous diets and it always made me mad because i really wanna gain weight and be bulky. my agoge diet helped me a lot on achieving my dream body!
Thanks for helping me stay motivated. As a 57 year old man who only recently started lifting weights, your honest comments mean a lot to me.
🔥🔥
Thank you for teaching us what healthy is, and what it looks like!!! You guys have become the standard to which I compare everything else 😄. Love listening to you guys. Keep up the good work!
The more i listen to you guys, the more apparent is the message "take care of your body and it will take care of you". Eat well, sleep well, and move well. Thank you for the great content as always, much love from Toronto, CAN.
This channel is so authentic. No ‘hacks’, no shortcuts, just sound, professional advice! Listen-up!!
I love the content you guys make!! Thank you for being realistic and not trying to put out pointless bs that most fitness influencers do. You guys rock👍🏼
Yeah for real, these guys are definitely unique and have the best channel to go for advice
After binging a few hundred episodes in the last couple months I have a solid idea of your guys philosophy. I keep coming back to hear the new ways you guys choose to relay the messages. Analogies and metaphors are always on point. You guys are the fitness pod goats 🐐🐐🐐🐐
You guys are on point wish my son could hear this with me he needs to hear it.thanks
I have the hardest time sleeping did realize that it would affect my cute
Love this. I normally skip a vid that’s too long but watched this beginning to end and it confirmed everything I d thought myself, now I can implement it knowing I m doing it right. Thanks guys great channel.
Really great compilation, gentlemen. Women need to hear #1 and #6 basically over and over and over again. I've been following you for over a year, running your programs consistently since January of this year, and I still need this stuff hammered home to me repeatedly.
Love you guys and everything you stand for. Let's keep pushing this content out there!
Love you guys! So much respect for each of you. Y'all are the perfect blend of entertainment with super valuable information about who knows what😄. The short videos in the gym are always my go to for proper execution of any movement. Grateful for all of your free knowledge!!
Just recently found this CZcams channel, and it has been super beneficial. I just recently started working out, and I’m so glad I found this channel. You guys are honest and a wealth of knowledge!
It’s prime time! A consistent mobility routine is something I’ve struggled with. Thanks for the great info as usual
Keeping a food journal helped me the most with my goals. Love your channel! Thank you for this content.
I’ve been listening/ watching your podcast for a little over a month now and I gotta say, I love the info on here. Seems super unbiased. Thank you guys! Hope to get to try one of your programs! 💪
Love this. Thanks for putting this together. I gotta say I’m slowly building thanks to following your programs and nutrition tips.
Been working out for a couple years but since I did it on my own I progressed pretty slowly. I came across Mind Pump at the start of this year and revamped how I work out, and I learned so much more and had so much more progress. I'm doing bodyweight workout but the workout wisdom is so massively helpful. I'll have access to a gym later this year and I'm looking forward to applying what I've learned and will learn from you guys in a new setting
Training a newbie right now. This is the perfect podcast to share with him. Thanks, Guys!💗
As a trainer myself, I'm impressed at the depth and complexity of your team's knowledge and I think your program will be helpful to me and my clients going forward.
Definitely going to check out the webinar. 43 year old teacher here. Been doing Beachbody on demand workouts for about 8 years now. Ready to do a bulk this summer and follow some different programming. Been catching up on all your episodes. Thanks for the info guys!
I'm hooked on your podcasts. I've bought 3 of your programs and I'm very impressed 🔥🔥🔥 thanks for your free knowledge
This is the only podcast I can listen to start to finish. Even if it’s info y’all already alluded to, I still enjoy the perspectives. Can just fell my mind pumpin
Nice tip Adam! Organize the weekends. I’m definitely implementing that!
Thanks for the discussion on such a challenging process, looking forward to executing each step.
You guys are the best smart and handsome!! I have started a total lifestyle change you guys are part of my daily intake. I have lost 8lbs in 4 weeks, including a vacation, and I have increased my caloric intake. The information and approach to education has been hyper valuable to how I have approached my diet and my mindset starting this journey.
Thanks guys for hammering home these important points. Sleep is amazing!
Could easily also name this pod 'Muscle building tips I wished I knew day 1". Awesome to hear the full circle of viewpoints as trainers that coach clients, lifters / workout enthusiasts that use this info in real life adaptations, and knowledge powerhouses of fitness from a macro down to micro level. You 3 transition seamlessly between each other and I appreciate the individual experiences shared as examples. Only been watching a handful of videos so far, but for sure am gonna tune in often from now on and submit a question or five ha
I'm glad I found your channel I'm a type 2 diabetic with fatty liver and kidney disease This information is life-saving more than anything thank you guys really appreciate it 💪❤️😎
Man these folks speak deeper than most of the viewers perceive, this group of men is really telling you how to change your life
Just bought the maps anabolic program about a month ago! Loving it so far adding in maps prime would definitely level it up a notch!
You hit the nail on the head. When I started incorporating squats and deadlifts into my routine, I’ve noticed overall muscle growth…especially my back…I can see muscle there I’ve never seen in my life! 🤩💪🏋️♀️🦵❤️🥳
I struggled to get my traps to grow significantly until I started deadlifts. that ability to move that high weight is insane. just like they said is you don't try to get some kind of pump or feeling that muscle (s). movement focus and then pow u get gainz.
You love ❤️ muscle so much. I have question. WHY? What does it mean? Where do I sine up for some muscles? I have no muscles. I do have strength. I lifted our 120 pound Labrador into the back of the family station wagon and he seemed to love it, albeit I wasn't showing no muscle. None at all. Just lifted that puppy up like he was a feather. 💪
@@quantumpotential7639 why wouldn't you want to pack on muscle and improve health, physique, strength and over all improve your quality of life? If you want to learn to build muscle keep listening to this podcast, eat enough of the right foods and start lifting homie. You don't want your 120 lb pet dog to be more swole than you 🤣
You guys are killing it! Learn so much from this podcast
I love Mind Pump. Always learning something new. Always have great fitness and nutrition advice.
This and the training in hot weather video have been super helpful! Thanks you the consistently solid content guys! 🙌💪
Great podcast ! The fitness / nutrition information is so interesting. I love how you guys give info and your own opinions and experience on each topic!
Almost every time I think about a few subjects, you guys cover it or at least touch on it... Great job, thanks
Currently in a transformation phase. Im entering my 40s trying to navigate working out. Past experience was nonstop 5-6 days a week staying active. It was great listening you guys getting a refresher and hearing some of the things I need to hear again.
I appreciate the REALNESS, FACTS, WHAT IS, and WHATS NOT.
I been lifting for years, and you guys make me feel like a rookie, simply said, I just been doing alot of stuff wrong.
How did I just now find out about these guys? I'm loving the studio and the podcast! Great stuff, keep it up fellas!
Love the chats boys. Up skilling my Pt business everyday, cheers.
I found you guy's today. Love you all so much. I'm subscribed and binged so much and still going. I'm on my way to the best physique of my life and you guys are the icing on top i think I get it now, thanks to you ❤
Discovered you guys recently and I’ve been hooked! Love what you’re doing!
My favorite podcast!!! Keeps me motivated and educated. Keep it up
Love the content! Its become a daily routine to watch yall now! 💪
This is like a semester of muscle building education in single video! Rare these days.
Really good advice across the board. I like the Amplifier analogy -- hadn't heard that before, but it makes a lot of sense.
I’m learning so much with you guys! You’re podcast is really a Mind Pump! 🤯💪🏼
It's like the title of each episode is what I was searching CZcams for 20 minutes before this drops!
Mindpump is now my favourite CZcams channel. And none comes close.
Great podcast guys! Can't say I check all 11 boxes so there is some work for me to do. Keep the good stuff coming 💪
Found you guys 2 months ago, been going through all your older material on CZcams and my training routine has gone from ok, Meandering from machine to machine some days, to now having quality exercises to perform, great techniques, and and now paying attention to macros and quality of nutrition that I'm getting for those macros. Thanks for all the info and hard work 👍
Thanks for the nutrition tips all good
Hi, guys. Talking from Brazil. I started doing deadlifts and pull ups in the same day thanks to things that I saw you talking and I´m having good results in my back strength and size
Since finding this podcast for life, the way I train and more importantly the way I think about training has changed for the better. I've spent years spinning my wheels over restricting, overdoing cardio and wondering why I can't look like I want when I train so hard. Now with listening to these guys I know I was do everything completely wrong. I've learnt to go all in , train for strength , eat more and cut the cardio. It's been amazing thanks guys, Now to work on my mobility 😁👍
Just found you guys via recommendation, love the podcast. Love there is so much content
I’m a physical therapist and I’m especially interested in your Prime Pro program, I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a copy 😈😈 My patients could benefit big time!
As a female and former athlete, MP has been a game changer. I thought I was washed up & going to have to deal with chronic pain, but man. The content you all preach has completely given me new life mentally and physically. As a nurse, everything makes sense to me medically as well, which is so cool. I love hearing all the breakdowns & science of the benefits behind lifting. I have 100% drank the koolaid and am sharing cups with everyone I know!
No better way to start a week of training and building muscle than listening to the Mind Pump podcast. Keep at it lads.
Probably the best consolidated list of muscle building advise tips on the internet. You guys smoked this one!
What's up? You guys are the best! I grew up playing sports and was bigger than everyone in every grade but never worked out.. I'm 6'5" and 46 years old but unfortunately I'm only just now taking my exercise health seriously. I grew up competing with others in random feats of strength like done after Festivus. Keep up the great work. I will be strong one day.
I’m an online coach and listen to hours of Mind Pump all day everyday. I’ve learned so much and have grew my business massively through the content I’m now able to post. Legends of the game. Appreciate it.
I like the way you talk about metabolism and your show has helped me realize some things, it's not just info. 👍🏻
Y’all the best trainers/information personnel on CZcams. I really appreciate y’all’s time. Your Podcast and video has change my life. Thanks
Thank you guys for all the great info!!
Great podcast fellas. I am a PTA student and mobility, mobility, mobility….MOBILITY!!
Great training advice for naturals, salute fellas 💪🏽 strength + frequency is key
Very informative video!
Can’t wait to implement these techniques
Y’all convinced me to get out of a loooong cut and totally changed my mindset. The last 2 weeks I increased my calories significantly (I’m a 23 year old male) and I’m feeling amazing in the gym, my weight has actually stayed the same and I’m making strength gains faster than ever before! I really needed to hear some solid reasonings to convince me to stop cutting and you provided it!
Same man these guys are underrated
Wow. Thanks for all the information guys!!!
Being in the army maps anywhere is the best thing ever
I hope every young aspiring or motivated athlete sees this. It’s going to put them so far beyond ahead of where they think they could be in years to come. 💯
Yet another great podcast. Keep ‘em coming!
Thanks for the great information guys keep it coming!
Keep up the good content! You guys have a lot of good things to say regarding the fitness industry.
Mindpump changed my life. As soon as a started doing the things y’all preach. I got more results in a month than I did with years of poor programming and following nutrition myths.
Thanks guys for the variety of content. In the course of building muscle over the last 30 yrs, I find my interest to now explore BPC157 / TB500 for injury and recovery. Don't exactly know where to get this stuff in Canada. At 57, finding I am still pressing 90-100 lbs dumbbells for chest, and deadlifting up to 4 1/2 plates. Now experimenting with more reps and different exercises. Keep it up.
This video is A1! Thanks for top shelf quality information!
Been wanting to try out MAPS Prime! Thanks for the tips and keep up the great work and information fellas. Appreciate you and the consistent content!
Love your content guys. I had to subscribe! keep it going!💪💪
So true even just 5-10 mins doing dynamic stretches before lifting and static stretches before bed on hips and ankles will give u waaay more gains and no joint pains
Awsome podcast! Maps prime would be awsome to add to my training.
Best information for health and fitness you’ll ever hear 🚫🧢
MAPS Prime is legit. I failed zone 3 HARD and had SERIOUS sciatic nerve issues Prime cleared them up 💪
Thanks Mind Pump!
Best episode in a while. Thanks guys.
I consistently try to gain weight and y'all have helped me so much in strength and my gains. And your running advice got me to beat my staff sergeant 😉😂
I've been lifting nearly 20 years and still benefit from hearing tips like this! I agree completely on the mobility Adam... 30 y/o me (heck, even 40 y/o me) would have never even considered mobility work and thought it was a waste of time. Now at 50 I can clearly see how it would overall improve the return on my lifting. Not to mention overall activities of daily living and quality of life. Geez.. I guess better late than never! Love the podcast guys.
What mobility work did you incorporate? Being a long time trainer have you altered your lifting routine at all since turning 50 to keep seeing progress?
@@amperage8032 I just follow a routine created for me from my boyfriend.. it was mostly for my hips and low back, which were giving me the most problems. Ironically enough, the changes to my lifting routine was to actually do LESS. This was tough for me mentally, but I realize now I was just beating myself up with volume. I want to be doing this for the long haul and now aim to do just enough to create a stimulus and take care to move my joints in more than just the sagital plane (previously my routine exclusively). I make sure to get in especially rotational movements.
I just got back into weight lifting a few years ago and only just started hitting each muscle group 2 times a week.
It seems to be working. My strength gains have most definitely improved, especially since i started lowering the total sets. For the first several weeks I'd do for example: a full chest workout (15-18 sets) then come back a few days later and do half of that. Now it's more like a 60/40 split with different exercises on day 2.
another STELLAR episodes guys! I would love to hear your take on how to best strengthening the glute medius? I just found out I have hip tilt and SI joint dysfunction, and I think it mostly stems from a weak glue med in my right leg. THANK YOU!!!
Hey guys I’m a former boxer that had such a unhealthy relationship with my weight and my scale. I stopped boxing 5 years ago but your still step on the scale 2-3 times a day just to be frustrated that I am gaining weight and thought running 3 miles a day was how you lost weight. After listening to you guys I threw away my scale to lose that unhealthy relation with the scale and weight and started maps anabolic. I just finished the prephase and I start strength Wednesday and I already can see my body changing. And I don’t care what my weight is anymore I just want to see my body build muscle and strength increase. Thank you guys so much I appreciate the push to change how I looked at things. I also am audibling Sal’s book. It’s great info. I am having a lot of pain in my hips when squatting I think they are too tight, ankles are tight also but I’ve been watching a few videos you guys made on it to try to fix it. Keep doing what you guys are doing. You have a fan and listener for life here.
Winner Winner! Please email Ann ann@mindpumpmedia.com with your name, winning episode number, and the email address you would like your program under and we will get you hooked up.
Thank you guys
