  • Here I talk about a few negative things and frustrations about my Citroen Berlingo Multispace.
None are too bad though, or deal breakers, but are worth knowing about anyway before you buy one.

You are doing a PERFECT job the way you do it! I'm especially interested in the Belingo videos, but the DIYs are great too.

no time lag on conventional auto box but these are manual boxes with actuators to automatically work the gears, and clutch and therefore there is some delay.

Petrol models heat up fast, diesels especially modern ones are slow because there is very little waste heat from the combustion (the engine is so efficient) some diesels have a unit mounted in the heater hose with glow plugs in it to boost the heater a little. Worth checking if your car has this and if it is coming on.

    I got one.
The seating floor plan should have copied vauxhall where rear seats fold flat down onto the floor.
    Arm rests are pathetic.

Do you leave the handbrake on to create more warmth by friction?

Are you still driving this car? If not, how long did you keep it and why did you change?

Try running a flush and then changing the coolant on it.

Could I ask you one more favour? ...and only if you have time. Could you measure the space between the driver's seat and the passenger door? Imagine that the passenger seat wasn't there, so how big is the space between the driver's seat and the door on the passenger side? Thank you so much for your help...

Hi Pjotr, yes I’ll do it later and let you know, thanks.

Hi the measurement you ask for is 75cm. The handbrake is very close to the driver’s seat so you have to take that into account, so I measured from the handbrake to the passenger door which is 75cm, thanks Tim.

@@baldytimsreviews8204, that's actually handy information. I wonder why CZcamsrs don't normally give precise measurements of the interior - it's vital, especially if you buy a car for its size.

basically it is a van ,so heating will always be on the low side ,as is the road noise ,and the same goes for acceleration ,,,but for comfortable driving it is very hard to beat ,i drive to and from bulgaria in my berlingo twice a year ,,,the only major downside is that for the diy mechanic it has some nasty surprises for simple repairs ,,but hey ho you cant win them all ,,,

A van with a steel bulkhead heats up the cab in just a few minutes even during that 'beast from the east' winter.

Did you just say when you put your foot down it’s stays in her to long making it faster don’t put your foot down so hard🤯 I see your problem you need a manual lag on gear change not holds on to gear to long
