REAL Star Trek! Thank goodness!!!
Thanks for watching :)
It's lovely that you used the gorgeous Star Trek Voyager theme.
The Voyager theme is wonderful, isn't it! And the variation we've used (which was part of the Star Trek: The Experience Borg Invasion 4D ride) fit perfectly with our visuals. :D
Very chuffed to be able to return to the role of Captain and be part of another brilliant fan film. Thank you Aaron for creating a great story and bringing me on board again. 🫡 👏
Fantastic acting and a really well made episode. Well done to you, your cast mates and everyone who was involved!
thank you guys so much
I'll be back with the pot of tea and biscuits soon, Captain. 🤣
Lovely to work with you all once again! 😁
Thank you, Captain!
For those who don't know, Kate has played our captain in all three stories this season (Beyond the Sun, Outbreak and Resistance) and we have relished working with her every single time! :)
You were wonderful!
Each Star Trek fan production just keeps getting better with each episode.
Thanks for watching :)
It's not easy tackling a Borg episode for a fan film, but you guys did it in a clever way to avoid the full Borg makeup and costume and it worked thanks to your interesting story premise. Thank you everyone for feeding the fans with another delicious serving of piping hot Star Trek - keeping true to everything we love about TNG > Voyager. Amazing work, acting and production. Thank you again!
Hit the nail on the head there - we wanted to do Borg but knew our limitations so tried to do it in an interesting and hopefully unique way! Thanks for much for watching :) Glad you enjoyed it!
@Gary_F: I think they pulled the borg off just right:) Voyager had an episode where they suggested the idea of a different kind of borg like shown above, this was perfect:) The borg would adapt to this idea if it made assimilation more officiant this what makes them sinister.....yikes lol
@@voyagesfanfilm you folks who created, wrote & directed this wonderful StarTrek story...are to be commended..... WELL DONE, PEOPLE. Thank You So Much...!!; So say WE ALL!!
I love this. I do wish subtitles were accurate, it's a bit hard for my old ears to assimilate the words. When the CC wrote it, I'm pretty sure he didn't say 'But I am bored'. 😂
Those CCs are automatic unfortunately. We'll look into getting someone to update them however. Thanks for letting us know :)
A Masterpiece. Everything from the story, to the cast, to the production design.. Flawless! I really enjoyed this one. Nice work and CONGRATULATIONS to Aaron and his team! Another award winning film!
High praise indeed! Thank you so much for your support :D Much love!
Dude... This one is your best yet. It's brilliant. You gave us a powerful story about resisting opposing forces and redemption of self. It was also a story of camaraderie and friendship and loyalty. The acting and effects were superb. This film will deserve all the accolades it is sure to receive.
Oh, and I am really hopeful of seeing more from this incredible crew.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching :)
Resistance marks the end for this particular set of stories but we hope to focus on a different era at some point in the future! :)
@@voyagesfanfilm You could always bring the Explorer crew back in FC uniforms!
For a fan done show it was above amazing. You all should be very proud of your work.
Thank you so much :) Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
That is literally the best Star Trek I've seen in a long time. I hope you keep up the good work and keep showing what Star Trek really is. ❤️
agreed. i look forward to more like this
High praise indeed! Thanks so much for watching :)
Never thought I’d see a Nova-class explorer in person; WOW whatta ship! 🤩
Thanks for watching :)
Very good! I'm loving the emphasis on the Nova class ship. We never really got to see much of it except the Equinox during Voyager.
It was the perfect ship for our series of stories! Thanks for watching :)
What made Star Trek great was the mystery and the unraveling of that mystery..
Thank you for watching :)
That was superb. A fantastic story and some great acting. One of the best fan films I’ve seen in a long time. Well done and thank you. 🖖
Thank you for watching :) So glad to hear you enjoyed it!
This is an excellent episode. Thank you to all who made it and Happy Thanksgiving to Star Trek.
🖖🏻🖖🏼🖖🏽🖖🏾🖖🏿
Thank you for watching :)
@@voyagesfanfilm You're welcome and congratulations for your award for Resistance.
I'm usually watching fan films with a smirk, viewing them as "cute tries," but this had me totally riveted. Great plot. Awesome job!
Thanks for watching :)
Well done... I love the nova class vessel used. This was worthy of a Star Trek motion picture film. As an avid Star Trek fan, I am greatful for this production. I look forward to watching more of your works.
Thanks for watching! We've got a back catalogue of another 7 fan films on our channel to check out :)
This is the best acting of any fan fiction I have seen!! Brilliant!!
High praise indeed! Thank you for watching :)
This is the best fan made Trek ive ever seen, and ive seen a lot. This is the first time im getting real acting. Normally it seems like the actors is made of Bob the ice cream vendor that happens to own a video camera, and Hellen the girl all the men like, and wants to put in the show for eye candy+ the spotty teen that happens to have a dad that sells Trek merch so he gets in.. 😜
This is way better than ST Picard as it seems more Trek than real Trek. 😎 Good work guys, and loved the fact that you're brits and not septics for once.. 😉
We like to think our series is as much an exercise in filmmaking as it is in making Star Trek. We certainly pride ourselves on working with the best local emerging talent (both in front of and behind the camera). In fact, every few people we work with are Star Trek fans.
Thanks so much for watching :)
@14: Perhaps the best ST moment without words ever!
WOWZA! This is incredible....all the way around! Acting, sets, wardrobe, everything is fantastic! Please, whoever directed this and the team..please, PLEASE make more!!
Thanks for watching :) We would love to make more in future, but in the meantime there are more episodes on our channel :)
"... and some biscuits."
Loved it!
A little ad-lib from Kate which we just had to keep in! Thanks for watching :)
What a beautiful, poignant, powerful, inspiring, awesome episode!! To everyone of the cast and crew…you all are utterly brilliant, amazing, & awesome!! I’d love to see more of this amazing crew and ship. More adventures please
Thank you so much for watching! Glad to hear you enjoyed it :)
I am blown away. In an alternate universe Paramount shines a light on excellent fan films like this and provides official costumes and props.
Well done!
Thanks for watching :)
this is probably the best fan film I have seen thus far, I really enjoyed this thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching :)
What makes this exceptionally good is that Star Trek really hasn't been Star Trek since Voyager. This is easily the best, most authentic Star Trek since Voyager ended. It's kind of telling about the current state of 'Trek, and shows how good this really is... because the studios have not been able to come up with anything even close to this calibre.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! :)
This is outstanding on so many fronts: story, plot, acting, pacing, sound, vfx, sets, costumes, etc. I am still trying to figure out how this is merely a fan production. Kudos to all involved
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching :)
Aaron, once again, you've proven you're a legend in the Star Trek field! Kudos to all involved in this amazing effort. From the writing to the FX, an amazing effort! Well done!
Thank you so much for watching! Super glad to hear that you enjoyed this one :)
@@voyagesfanfilm EVERYONE as you can see ENjoyed !!!
Excellent job. Suspense, intrigue, insight into the Borg Collective...especially enjoyed the lighting and color use in the darker scenes, as well as being able to see inside the ship on flyby.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching :)
we need more trek like this
Thanks for watching :)
This show is on the right path and I can't wait to see the next episode. My partner and I have decided we will watch an episode on Sunday and treat it like a real show. Way to go guys!
Thanks for watching :) Resistance is the end of the run in our current set of stories but we hope to focus on a new era at some point in the future! Thanks for watching :)
This is one of the best ST fan films I’ve seen in a while! It was immersive, unpredictable, and emotionally satisfying. Good writing, good effects, and good acting. Kudos!
Thanks for watching :)
A Borg prototype centuries old and out for revenge a very good story line indeed.
Thanks for watching :)
Superb show, my hat off to everyone that was involved. I thought the Borg twist was nicely done . There was good action and nice special effects, along with well-spoken dialogue, I will watch Resistance again Thank you for a very entertaining show and I look forward to seeing more in the future.
Thanks so much for watching! Glad to hear you enjoyed it :)
I recognized a lot of the Computer Voice sound clips from the Star Trek: Generations PC game, The "Warp Core Breach in X minutes/seconds" reminders, the "Torpedo launch" and "Deflector Field Overloaded" stand out in particular.
Hah! Was wondering where they get sound effects like that!
Bang on! We've amassed quite the secret sash of the Computer Voice from a number of games so it was the perfect opportunity to use them and add a little authenticity to Resistance. With a bit of crafty editing, managed to get exactly the computer to say exactly what we needed.
This one was pretty good acting story character development, and production all hit excellent marks
Thank you for watching :) Glad you enjoyed it!
I watch a lot of these in the background as I work from home, and while I love them all regardless of quality, this stood out to me as a really great episode of Star Trek. You guys knocked it out of the park. The story was clever and interesting, the acting was great and it was just good storytelling and Star Trek. I've made like three comments ever in CZcams but wanted to just say good job.
Thanks so much for watching :) Really glad to hear you enjoyed it.
My expectations for this were low. I have seen many attempts to reproduce successful science fiction, most were low quality compared to the original. THIS is quite the opposite. I was amazed at how well done this is. Thank you, and keep going!
Thanks for watching :) Glad you enjoyed it!
Very well made episode.
Thank you so much for watching :)
Can’t get over how good that was
Thanks so much for watching :)
This was really really good, excellent acting excellent props and everything was just so perfect. Thanks for this great episode Star Trek is back.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching :)
Brilliant! This is easily a one hour episode cut down to 28 minutes. Great script, acting, and effects. Love it!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it :)
Like how you did this little episode very good sense of Borg take over just tryin to recall the episode with archer on nxo1
Thanks for watching :)
Goodness you all should be on my television every week with new episodes. So happy Star Trek Lives!
Thank you for watching :)
I stopped the video before the beginning credits to say ... I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!! Oh WOW. Now back to the rest of this mind grabbing story!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching :)
Very clever use of the Borg, using them to tell a really personal story.
Brilliant use of light, shadows and SFX too!
Thank you for watching! :)
Great episode. Good acting.... Future academy award winners.
We sure hope so! We've had the privilege of working with so many talented actors and were so thrilled by the successes they've had since :)
I love that the U.S.S. Explorer is a Nova Class. I fell in love with that class of ship when I first saw it in the Voyager episode, Equinox.
Thanks for watching :)
That was excellent drama near the end, it was actually palpable, and gave a great climax to the film. I think I have to go back to First Contact to remember such a feeling.
Thanks for watching :) Glad you enjoyed it!
Just stumbled across this. Lovely production.
Thank you for watching :)
Wow! This 25 minutes were better than the last Star Trek series of the last 10 years.
Greetings from germany ❤
Thank you for watching :)
Wow this is fantastic! Just like the ST that we know and love.
Thanks for watching :)
Very well done! Excellent story, well acted and very much in the spirit of Star Trek.
I even like the name you chose for your ship ... Explorer.
Thanks for watching! :) Explorer is a perfect name for a ship!
Now that was a truly Rocking episode of Star Trek there !!!! Thank you all, cast and crew 😊
Thanks for watching :) Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
'Twas excellent once again working with the lovely and talented people involved in making this film. 😁
Very proud of Aaron's finished product!
Thank you for coming on board and being a part of Resistance, Jesse!
For those who don't know, Jesse previously appeared in Line of Duty and we were SO keen to work with him again, in a bigger role! :)
My pleasure! 😁
Another wonderful story

Wow! Strong writing with great character details. Top notch acting and effects. All around best episode ever! Thanks to everyone for their best effort.

3.25 Okay, that effect impressed me.
And the sets, costumes, and special-effects makeup are doing really well by this point too!
We have a great team! Thanks so much for watching :)
Fan productions of the Star Trek stories, and universe are constantly improving. I notice that they are more on par with Paramount and may surpass them soon if they haven't already. Well done to all involved. I wish I could join you. I'd love to play a role. LLAP
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching :)

Interesting and engaging. You put your effort into the plot rather than just special effects. A worthy and recommended film. Music is nicely reminiscent of Star Trek Voyager.
Thanks for watching :) Glad you enjoyed it!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Bravo!!! Super job by all, loved the story completely, thank you all 🖖
Great to hear you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching :)
Such kind of stories I am missing on Star Trek.
Thanks for watching :)
An intriguing story, well done.

Thanks so much for watching, really glad to hear you enjoyed it :)
I just love these! Thank you for keeping Trek alive.
Really glad to hear you've enjoyed them! We've released 8 Star Trek short films so far, hopefully with more on the way in future.
HELLary Clittons Evil Borg double 😂
Fantastic! Well done!
Thanks for watching! :)
This is another ST fan film that has a good story and was well executed. The only problem I had was with the audio. There were a couple of short sections where I had trouble hearing and understanding what was being said.
Thank you for the feedback :)
THIS IS BRILLIANT AND SHOULD BE MADE INTO MORE EPISODE'S. I WATCHED TOS FROM THE AGE IT STARTED AND WHEN THEY REPLAYED THE SERIES (TOS) ON DEMAND FROM OLDER TREKKIE'S,AS I WAS TOO YOUNG. I WAS BORN IN 1963 TELLING MY PARENT'S AND YOUNGER BROTHER , HUGH THAT PEOPLE LIVED ON MOON AND MARS! WHEN I WAS THREE OR FOUR , MY GUARDIAN'S VISITED ME AND TOOK ME TO OTHER PLACE'S. ONE CRAFT WAS LIKE A DANCING SUN WHERE TALL , BALD BEING'S IN LONG ,WHITE GOWNS WITH HIGH COLLARS OVER THEIR NECK .... THEY TESTED ME MORE AND I HAVE 173 I.Q. ON A 20 QUESTION TEST AND I REACHED MAXIMUM SCORE AFTER 48 HOUR'S WITHOUT SLEEP AND TOOK TEST, WHILE IN PAIN , AFTER A 25 YEAR OLD SCIENTIST SAID BRAIN DAMAGED CHILDREN SHOULDNOT BE BORN ,DUE TO BEING (BASICALLY HE SAID THAT WE'RE RETARDED, BUT USED A WORD THAT I DIDN'T LIKE, BECAUSE HE SAID WE ARE RETARDED WITH ANOTHER WORD THAT MEANS THE SAME AND JUST AS IGNORANT LIKE BEING BORN STUPID.) ANYWAY, DESPITE BEING AWAKE WITH PAIN FOR 48 HOURS TAKING A SHORT MENSA TEST THAT SHOWED I HAD A HIGHER I.Q. THAN HIM AND GETTING ALL QUESTION'S CORRECT WITH SLEEP DEPRIVATION FROM PAIN AND HAVING BEEN BORN WITH MODERATE-SEVERE CEREBRAL PALSY. THIS SCIENTIST, EINSTEIN AND HAWKING HAVE SAME I.Q. , AND MINE IS HIGHER, BECAUSE CHRIST IS MY LØRD AND SAVIOUR AND I PRAISE HIM FOR MY HIGH I.Q.THAT WILL SURPASS ANY ONE WHO DENIES HIM AND ANYBODY THAT EQUATES BRAIN DAMAGE TO STUPIDITY OR RETARDATION!
Thank you for watching :)
Of the many things I liked,Majel Barrett's voice was a big one
WELL DONE! LOVE THE SHIP DESIGN!! GREAT HEARING MAJELS VOICE AGAIN! Story line/SFX and brand new! WOW! Sound Story smoothness 👍👍‼️no hokey acting-LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING MORE‼️‼️🖖

You achieve more in your twenty minutes than nutrek could hope to achieve in an entire movie!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it :) Thanks so much for watching

This is a nice fan fic type video of an amazing American show.
Thanks for watching :)
Great story!
Thanks for watching :)
Very nice. In many fan productions, the actors seem more like people chosen maybe because they donated time/money for the project. Here though, they are good actors, believable with screen presence. Well done!
Yep, we're very fortunate to work with professional, up-and-coming actors in all our projects :)
Samuel Cockings STRIKES AGAIN!!! Fantastic Episode :)
We always enjoy working with the very talented Sam :)
I really liked this.. and not only because the Nova class ships are my favorite!

Very good . Loved It . This is quality beyond older fan films . We will contribute when needed . Thank you
Thank you so much for your support! :)
Just a tip, the early borg in TNG did not have the nanobot assimilators yet. The borg had to manually make cyborgs, which was gruesome, sort of like horror alien abductions, cutting off limbs and other body parts and stuff and replacing them with cybernetics. So if this 2,000 year old borg probe was to be realistic in this Star Trek world, it would not have the nano tech yet.
I'm not sure if that's true. In any case, the events set in 2350 (prior to the TNG Borg stories) in VOY: Dark Frontier would seem to recon that idea and since our series is based on VOY, that's the direction we went. Thank you for watching :)
@These Are The Voyages - a Star Trek Fan Series yes it is based on Voyager time but the _probe_ is 2,000 years older than that. TNG crew encountered Borg before Voyager time and the episode Best Of Both Worlds shows their gruesome traumatizing manual assimilation process.
It was not until the movie First Contact that the borg seems to have assimilated the nanotech. It's implied that they encountered this tech, likely a tech that started off as an anti-assimilation tech to combat the borg.
So a Borg probe that is found to be 2,000 years old would not have this nano assimilation technology, despite the fact that it was found in Voyager's time.
Keep up the good work. Don't be afraid to get a Star Trek need to consult. We will do it for free!
