First time welding! (unboxing amazon welder) SUNGOLDPOWER ARC MMA 200A

In this video, I finally get around to some stick welding. I've always wanted to try stick welding and I finally pulled the trigger on this little welder from Sun Gold Power. Its a 200A 120/240v stick welder.
I think it actually works pretty good. Like I mentioned in the video I have NO IDEA WHAT IM DOING. If you have some tips id greatly appreciate it.

In my experience with this welder's slightly bigger brother, on 110, the displayed amps are roughly half the actual amps. Crank that dial up and your life gets better.

No worries I've used mine for a few projects now and I'm still happy with it.

I got the same machine, I haven't done anything useful with it yet but it's surprising what you can get for just over 200 American pesos.

I've done some small projects. It's hard to get consistent results with it.

Yes DC. It's cheap but works good for small projects. I'm going to do some more videos on trailer repair. Going to build a rolling mount for the ramps. Cheers.
