When turning on the car, dont have the ac running from before. You will ruin your compressor...turn car on, and then the ac. Thats for all cars not just for this one
The light on my 'AC Off' button is always on, which means the AC is always off. Pressing won't do any good, any idea what might cause this? There was leakage of gas which has been repaired, yet the light won't go away and AC not work.

How did you knw to look there? That wire is pretty well insulated how did you find out it was broken? Did it come apart after you disconnected it?
I have the same issue hot air is blowing out what do I need to do. I have a 2000 CLK320 convertible..
I have exactly the same problem the wire was cut I had to reconnect it, problem in these cars are wiring.
