    • @crazycookie4645

      Only idiots who view age in a restrictive fashion would think that either of those sentiments actually means anything, the kind of people who think that everything has to either be Dora the Explorer or Game of Thrones. Just make a good movie that's literally all that matters. I don't respect Pixar because they make movies geared towards kids and adults alike, because that doesn't matter, I respect them because they make good movies (for the most part).

      @@crazycookie4645 Actually no, not well said.
      Nobody said that "kid movies" as opposed to "adult movies" are an indication of quality, or the other way around.
      It's not "restrictive" to state a very objective truth, that your script, your jokes, your visuals, can be TARGETED towards a specific audience, while also keeping another audience in mind.
      If a movie was made FOR kids, then the humor, visuals and script would reflect that.
      Children react to things differently than adults normally do, have different humor, they empathize with things in a different way, etc...so it's only natural that a different target demographic will result in a different type of movie.
      The idea that "you only have to make a good movie" makes absolutely no sense, considering that you can make a fantastic movie filled with sex-scenes, gore and violence. Aka not a movie targeted towards children.
      So no, it's not "idiotic" to see these categorizations as useful or informative. It's only silly to think that they are an indication of quality. There is absolutely a good reason why we use said categories.

      Neither of those are powered, so the police can handle them.

    • @IamGrimalkin
      @IamGrimalkin Před 4 lety +21

      @GM3210 Not necessarily.
      It seems there are supers in the world, and in general they tend to become heroes because revealing culture, but are in the very small minority of the population.
      There are also criminals who form a very small part of the population, but there is no evidence of a large tendency of supers to become criminals, so you can assume supers are just as likely to become criminals as anyone else.
      it's not too far-fetched to suggest that none of the very small number of supers decided to become criminals, especially since they don't really benefit much from doing so (if they want to be rich, or whatever, why not just use their powers in a factory or something?)

    This movie provided such a great experience for children and adults alike, it manages to have an easy to follow plot that children will understand but also incorporates more complex themes like the initial suicide attempt and Bob's workplace complications or the ups and downs of a marriage. This way the movie appeals to all audiences and has a tone just serious enough to simultaneously still allow a certain level of jauntiness that is usually overrepresented in modern kid's/family movies.

But if you look at the part of the plane that fell down later it's the tail, which doesn't make sense since the plane wasn't pitching down and the rockets seemed to come from the sides into the center. But at least the tail isn't shown anywhere below the cloud when we look at it from below.
