- Do you practice a "morning basket"? While we call it a morning basket - it can really be enjoyed anytime of day, whenever you do school! I love having a basket of various items to focus on before we begin our more academic lessons or activities! A few themes for our morning basket include character, manners, bible verses / faith, days of the week, month of the year, the weather and more! My children are in preschool and kindergarten this year for reference.

Hi! Oh I wish I had a link! Maybe I can find something similar online. This card is from our homeschool group and so it was given to us! But I'll try and see if there is something similar online! The statements are based on Charlotte Mason's view of education and student motto!

Wait... What us the weather song? We do weather in the morning too and i always think, i wish i had a song for this! 😂
It goes like this! “What’s the weather like today, like today, like today, what’s the weather like today… tell me… Susan!” Or whatever the kids name is :) Then they can assess the weather and give you an update ha! Fun to rotate with each kid and change up the name in the song :)

Hi! That is from our co-op so it was gifted to us! But it is based on Charlotte Mason and her educational philosophy so if you google Charlotte Mason I Can statements you may find something similar to buy or make yourself! :)
