So many great resources! I really like the faithapedia and love the idea of the memory wall. Thank you for sharing.
Morning menus are literally the best thing I ever did for my homeschool
Be Thou My Vision is our hymn for September! So good!
I love that you use hymns. I'm a hymn girl.
Yes we love the faithapedia chart we are using it as a special devotions on Sundays and it’s been awesome
I’m so intrigued by the Faithepedia! So cool!
I love our morning time... I think it's my fav time of the day! Thanks for sharing Megan! ❤️
Faithipedia is working so well for us. 🙂Isn't it great that it's so deep yet so short and to the point?
We do our Bible time, all of our Sonlight books, and then once a week we do a Picture study, Composer study and Nature study. 🥰
Audios on trips, yes🥰👊
I really liked seeing how you do morning time. I have to check out biblioplan.
Thanks for this video!
Thank you for sharing! I like the Faithopedia from Not consumed !
Really like the faithopedia. Would like to try it for next year
We are doing the new testament Faithopedia this year and I'm super excited about it!! We read tale of despereaux this past year and my kids LOVED it! Love your memory wall!
I’m really enjoying the conversations from it!
I really want to start using a morning basket type thing. Where did you get the black and clear plastic folder thing for those hymns and poems?
We are currently reading Little Pilgrims Progress. 💜
We are using that soon! I can’t wait!
@@PenniesAndSalt I love it so much!!
What curriculum would you suggest for building better communication and fixing attitudes for 8 and 9 year old? My 8 year old especially fights me on most things...I don't know how we're going to make it through homeschooling. But God called me to do it so I'm going to listen no matter what.
Not Consumed Ministries has a bible study that is excellent called “Fruit of the Tongue.” And also just encouraging and keeping an open line communication is super important too. 💜
I second not consumed. We love there different units and have used several :)
Just going to chime in but you should follow Mystie Winkler. She’s a Christian classical mom who helps moms get organized with homemaking and homeschool. She talks a lot about logistics and one of those things is when you have a power struggle with your child. Typically there is always a root cause. Sometimes kids don’t know their place or it could be as small as needing a guideline or something they are feeling and just projecting. Heart to hearts are always good and I frequently like to check in with my kids so that they know our purpose in protected hours of schooling and what our family culture is working towards. But habit of attention, obedience which to me is founded through learning fruit of the spirit self control. So I’d start there and I’d also learn about Charlotte mason habit training and her principles. They can give good perspective. I use “Laying down the rails” as a devotional for myself.
Can you elaborate on biblioplan?! Why do you prefer it to Story of the world?
It still includes store of the world. It’s way more in depth and has a wonderful visual text.
What art study are you using?! I may have missed you saying that!
Our Art and Music is from Gentle and Classical press. It’s specifically from my younger daughter’s Primer. It’s very simple and exploratory and I like that. It’s easy to come up with ways to enhance it as well.
@@PenniesAndSalt AWESOME! Thank you! I’m looking it up now😃
