Handbrake is used to convert the MKV Blu-ray file to a MP4 file that Premiere can use. Adobe Premiere Pro doesn’t have MKV file support. Once you have the MP4 file, you can use any NLE editor but this tutorial used Adobe Premiere Pro. Hope that helps!

Sorry for the late reply. You can download movies from the discussion. Later use ffmpeg to extract audio. There is a function called mapping which I recently used to extract the left and right channel of a favorite concert.
This doesn't work at all. I tried this with many movies, did the exact steps and it just won't work. Do I need to encode the whole movie? because I encoded only a specific scene. The whole movie would take forever.
I guess it depends on what you want to use. I think in this tutorial, he encoded the full movie with 6CH. That way, you could pick out which scenes you want to use. Hope that helps!

Sadly my blue ray video has an Opus Audio File, so i cant get the dolby audio, do you know a way to fix it?
None of the programs mentioned in the video or comments are detecting more than 2 audio tracks of anything at all.
I think 2.0 audio works, too. If you use DVDs.
